I changed it to my silly face one!.......... should i change it back lol?!!!:D

Day 53. Thought it was about time one of my dogs made a solo appearance.
This is Jess. She wasn't too keen on sitting still as the other half wit was doing laps of the garden.

Day 55. A morning in the mountains. Alarm went off at 5am this morning, myself and the dogs were on the road by 5.45 and heading into the forest by 6.45 with the aim of climbing Slieve Donard, the tallest mountain in Northern Ireland, and then Slieve Comedagh
which is another of the top 7. This is mostly about training for the seven seven's challenge that i am doing in August for charity (Cancer Research). Of course the camera came too.
This is the view from Slieve Donard looking down the mourne wall towards Slieve Comedagh with 5 of the other mountains that i will have to ascent off to the left.

I've missed a couple here!... I shall come back once I'm on the laptop as your photos never show on my phone :-(

Some lovely photos there, particularly like the 2nd one too

I like every single one of these, Phil.

Love the light on your first and last and that amazing line of the path (?) cutting across the RHS. The splash of sunlight to the left works so well.

Your second photo looks amazing and is nicely processed - love that little set of steps and the way it kind of peters out so you strain to see what is going on in the background but can't. Our snow and ice has all gone, so kind if interesting to see how much there is still!

Your waterfall shots are both just gorgeous and you are right about the icicles on the first...nice composition in both and lovely creamy flow of water.

Looks like you had a great day out....and good on you for training for your charity....please let me know later on and I will pledge you a donation (this is a cause very close to my heart for a couple of very special reasons).

Thanks for all the comments, very kind of you. Cancer Research is close to us too, hence myself and my brother doing this 18 mile walk over 7 mountains.

Yeah it's only yours, I meant to say the other day...... It's weird

All of your recent uploads are great! :) The shot of your dog is a wonderful portrait. The bud bottles are really cool! I think they've started doing things like that over here now!
The mountain/waterfall photos are really nice! How was the climb?

Phil some great work bud , but Jess is the little Gem !! You know I like dogs !!

Thanks Vince. I would say Izzy the Collie will make an appearance soon too.

Thanks Jake. The 2 climbs yesterday were tough as I havnt been doing as much hiking lately as I woild like. I need the practice though as I have this challenge in August to do.

Day 56. More odd ones from the garden. This is the new shoots of a sedum appearing in the low sunlight this afternoon.

I wonder.... your photos are the only ones i see on the computer with IMG before and after... i wonder if that's why i can't see them on my phone?

Nice to see things still progressing so well  I'm loving the snow drops  and the bud bottles again very nice for a filler shot as you've called it  and as usual some wonderful landscapes, have you got a just giving type page for your seven sisters challenge, as I wouldn't mind putting up a little bit of sponsorship

Day 57. Running Woman. Is it wrong to make your pregnant wife stand out in the garden doing silly poses in the dark while it is actually freezing so that you can draw round her with a torch?

Did you? Really?

I'm not going to discuss the morals of such an act with you, Phil, but will say she did a really good job for you! :)

I suppose you did OK with the whole drawing round with a torch and taking the photo thing as well!:lol:

Fab shot!
