Thanks Sarah. Love home made rhubarb crumble:)

Maybe a random shot but as Sarah said, nice and crisp

Thanks Simon, and hope you enjoy the new D7000. Moving up from the D3000 is a big jump but you will love it!

I'm sure I will Phil. Got a couple of weddings to do so it was a needed upgrade, plus I felt as though I'd gone as far as I could with the 3000, and in need of serious upgrade.

If you use manual a lot, you will find it much better. And so many more controls are just at your fingertips instead of going through menus.

Yeah I do prefer to use manual mode, plus the kit lens you get with it 18-105 seems to be a cracker too, it's had many a good write up.

Lovely vibrant and sharp shot Phil!!

Looks like brains tho not rhubarb :D

Great shots Phil :) Love the flowers

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHIL!!!!!!........ have an awesomesauce day!:D:D:D

Crisp new growth in yesterday's shot Phil..........................Many happy returns of the day bud !

Thanks Vince

Oooh, didn't know it was your birthday ¡Felicidades! :D

Many thanks Sarah.

Best birthday present, a one hour flight in a microlite plane from my brother. Cameras welcome and as you are basically sitting out in the open im hoping to get some decent shots. The aerodrome is only 12 miles from my house so we should be able to fly over my house and my brother and mother both live on the same road, down the local river and over the national trust property where I walk regularly and right down to lough neagh. Just neeed good weather now!

That sounds awesome! I'm jealous!

I think that the playing with your nephews toy's came out really well  nice to see the plants coming to life :D not sure what to make of the last one thought  what is it?

Hi Matt. The last one is the new shoots of rhubarb appearing. I think they are a bit weird too!

Day 44. Despite the rubbish weather here today I headed out for a walk in the local national trust property with the dogs. Had the idea of doing something with this row of lime trees but not sure what. This hasn't turned out like I wanted.

I really like the composition of this Phil! Trees, path, snowdrops, puddle and more trees. All leading into the photo! Shame about the weather but the composition really does it for me!

I like the trees and flowers but not the puddle - and it seems a bit dark (though it was a horrible day today!)

Thanks Jake and Lynn. It does look a bit dark now when I look at it on my tablet. The puddle is actually a drain that runs the whole way along the row of trees stopping me from going further to my right. There is another running along behind the row of trees too.

Microlite.... wow you are lucky!!!

Love the line of trees nice composition, this weather is so hard to find decent stuff outside to shoot.. you done well:thumbs:

Wow for the microlight, that sound fantastic - I think today's shot (actually yesterday's now I come to think of it) needs brightening a touch, or just a little sunshine. So difficult when you've got flat light. You'll have to revisit it on a nicer day.

That is a nice line of trees, again a little dark, but can't be helped with the bloody awful weather. On a sunny day, maybe at the same point but a little lower in the snowdrops would be good.

Thanks ladies. I'm going to have a go at re-editing this tonight. uif difference between my laptop that I edit on and my tablet is huge.
I really did get spoilt for mx birthday this year, my wife is taking me away tomorrow morning for the weekend too. We are going to a castle in Donegal so hopefully should get some nice landscapes while up there.

Have a lovely time in Donegal - hope you get decent weather and get some good shots.

Still a nice shot though Phil - though as some have said a bit dark .....
Sorry I missed your birthday so Belated Happy Birthday from me :)
