Oh no... Another 365!

174, Another meeting of 4 generations at my Grandparents house today.
Snapped this of my Nephew, again. Thought I'd try out some new PP tricks I've been taught and used a bit of negative space too :D

Nope, but I reckon I can work it out...

My neck doesn't hurt now :D

I'm so thick.
It's just how I took it, never thought to try it another way.
Saw it that way, posted it that way. Think I'll change the original on photobucket, I feel stupid now

Cheers mate :D
I really want to crack this negative space thing. Tried it lots of times before and this is the first time I feel it's worked. Maybe it's because there is a bit of pattern in there? They are usually bin jobs :(

Yeah i know what you mean. Without the pattern it would be more like 'dead' space and would need 'pruning' ;)

175, another day another portrait, haven't nailed it and got fed up messing, so here is where I got to.

Hmmm, I was 'advised' to brighten the eyes from where i was at. I thought they looked pretty good lol.

I like the eyes.

What sort of look were you going for?? Still hate you and your silverstone tickets by the way, don't let my comments fool you into thinking otherwise. Oh, and I'm going to bankrupt myself and buy a 70-200Vr f/2.8 out of spite!! Pure Spite!!!

*above comment may contain nuts*

Can't you tell?
LOL, just trying out a few layer adjustments and blending techniques, just accepted what I sort of 'liked' I guess.
When the spots, warts and 3rd ear were al gone I was happy, ish.
Not keen on the double chin that's not actually there, just a shadow, should have used a reflector to fill that in, but I don't have one...

Btw, it's ON camera flash, outside, BG is bushes in the garden.

176,
Crazy pigeon. This landed on my patio today and headed for the kitchen. Stupid thing, we've got 3 cats! Then my mate noticed rings on it's legs and said that's a racer!
So he rescued it and phoned the number on the ring, we've put him in a crate and my mates taken him home where he'll meet the owner and hand him back over.
Good deed for the day... Done.

177,
Take That, no not me!
Vicki and her friend wanted me to take their photo before they left.
Just dropped them off at the train station and they're on the way to Manchester, I've been abandoned for 2 nights, for the sake of 4 has beens!

I wasn't going to say that in public :D
You must have previous experience  I'm on her facebook now seeing how many girls I can get round here :woot:

Oh yes - i regularly get 'liberated' by the wife and the girls.

'tis a terrible shame :D

178,
my Dad's friend was racing his Mini at Silverstone, this shot came from a crazy race that had loads of different cars from a Viper, to a Noble to a Suzuki swift and plenty in between!

Vikki's friend?? :naughty:
You like her? I'll send you her facebook

No mate, had to take 30 to get them both looking at me, which they were doing before I picked up the cam.

Cheers guys and LOL @ you all

JD white shoot through umbrella to left, you can see it in the eye, turned up pretty high f/16 ISO200 on subject. Mirror on right for a bit of fill, he looks evil with only 1 side lit :D
Couldn't get light low enough really, stands aren't for floor work but haven't got a table suitable for raising the dog.
