the music festival in town was a non event, not because of the bands just nobody seemed bothered. It was also very poor aesthetically.

But the scene was so cluttered I had to do something, it's a bodge, good job it's only for my 365...

That's the attitude I'm beginning to take as well mate, not sure if it's a good thing!! :) But it is only a 365, normally I take the "that'll do!" approach and then go and drink beer....which reminds me....:naughty:
 
Think it depends why you're doing it mate.
For me it was just to make sure I keep using the gear, is a lot of money sat there if you don't use it and I had a big block last year.
If you're using it to improve yourself, then it'd be the wrong attitude.

My reasons were the same as Cyclone (even more so, after buying my new camera), although I do not think I'll be doing another 365 next year, will do a 52 and then set myself personal challenege each month or every other week.

But also as I'm getting less time in the week and doing Dad stuff, I'm finding more of a need to take shots like JD says.

It's lame, I've lost my mojo, my photography is about the only thing keeping me sane and I can't even get this close to being right at the moment.

I was shooting from the hip, didn't have the camera up to my eye. She must have been checking me out :D

It was the "Oh my God Oh my God....does he have his chainsaw with him..." moment I think. ;)

I really like it mate, shooting from the hip is my favourite street, probably because I don't have the balls to bring the camera to my eye, unless I'm with a few other Togs. I need to be among my people!! :)

my Logitech bluetooth mouse arrived 2 days ahead of schedule :D I'm happy as I really don't like trackpads, even as good as Apple ones are I still prefer a mouse.

Just a 50% ish desat and boosted the eyes a little with curves, added 2 slight vignettes, 1 around her face, 1 for the whole frame

199, had my brother in law to be and Nephew round for a "studio session" or to be more accurate, a kitchen photoshoot :lol:
Actually had a good time, which is novel for me lately. Just compounded my desire to make this a more permanent thing.
