Merry Christmas Immo and to everyone else of course!
Thank you. Adam, and to all viewers and contributors here ...![]()

Thank you ... looking forward to getting it.Congratulations
hope to see some images from your X2 once you’ve got used to itAfter deciding to sell all of my M43 kit and just stick with the Ricoh GR III, I acted on impulse this weekend and bought a barely used mint X2 with VF-2, grip and loads of extras from a dealer. No way was I forking out mega-bucks for a grander model but I think it will sit well with the Ricoh and I like the idea of a simplistic digital. It's an old model of course but there are many still in daily use and this one is absolutely pristine condition (allegedly - looks like in the photos) should get it by the weekend.![]()
Thanks, I look forward to shooting with it.hope to see some images from your X2 once you’ve got used to it![]()
She looks very tasty
That's nice Adam, so much detail and tonality.

Well the Leica X2 arrived this morning and I can only say that I am well impressed, everything boxed and most in the original wrapping appearing unused!
Camera, VF-2 viewfinder, grip, spare battery, charger, case and strap, wrist-strap, lens adapter, lens hood, manual and all paperwork - it was described as 'Mint' and it all really is.
Checked for known possible issue with battery retaining clip or internal battery and everything is fine.
Well pleased and look forward to using it soon.

That's what I thought but I guess it's because DXO use camera/lens profiles and if it doesn't support Leica camera profiles (which it seems it does not ... any Leica!) then it can't process the profiles rather than the file type.I use Lightroom... bit strange re Photolab as DNG is an open source format

What do you guys use for processing Leica DNG files?
I have been using Photolab5 and Affinity with my M43 kit but Photolab5 doesn't seem to support Leica DNG ... any way around that?
Is that Photolab?I use DXO
I use Lightroom for my M9s and my D-Lux Typ109 then export as either TIFF or JPG to finish in Photoshop. Although my LR is old (V6.14) and it won't support RAW on my Fujis later than the X-T2 and GFX 50S it will support DNGs from all the newer Leicas up to and including the M11 (I have downloaded DNGs on all the later models to check). AFAIK newer versions of LR/PS can still be updated for the new models of any camera it's just that Adobe are no longer supporting my version (too old). What do you guys use for processing Leica DNG files?

Actually supports many Leica. But sadly not X2That's what I thought but I guess it's because DXO use camera/lens profiles and if it doesn't support Leica camera profiles (which it seems it does not ... any Leica!) then it can't process the profiles rather than the file type.![]()
Thanks Trev, will just use Affinity then.Actually supports many Leica. But sadly not X2
Only the X Variant from the X series
Is that Photolab?
My research seemed to indicate that Photolab didn't recognise Leica and V5 certainly doesn't.
Actually it opens the jpeg files but not the DNG so I guess it is based on working with the camera profile.
Check hereActually supports many Leica. But sadly not X2
