found this little chap at the booty this morning and for £3 i had to take it home.
Kodak Retina. It all works, you can cock and fire the shutter using the levers but the shutter button itself is stuck so that needs a look at.
Well what better way to introduce myself with my most recent purchase: equal in both brilliance and ridiculousness.
Wooah there big fella, the Bessa R has to go........mmmmm.....no... must...resist....
Oh and that R4a is the dogs doodahs.
At long last I've managed to pick an R4A, from a very nice fella on the Rangefinder Forum, it's like my other Bessa but with more bells and whistles and most importantly it has the wide framelines, perfect for the 25mm Snapshot and it just feels right
That means, unfortunately that my Bessa R and the Leica M3 have to go, so keep an eye on the classifieds![]()
Oops, brought a yashica mat 124g
Finger slipped? Happens to the best of us.

Gulp Asha..I've gotta admire you guys using old equipment.
LOL, it's not the most "compact" of cameras to carry around...has a max shutter speed of 1/1000 though which for it's era was pretty outstanding .

What's the max shutter speed now though![]()
Asha, want to send it to me when you're done so I can test my plates. Stick a first class stamp on it i'm sure that'll cover it.
It looks like some camera.
Saw that for sale....glad you have removed the temptation.
However one of these arrived in today's post. No idea how!

Always wanted to try one and Vintage Classic Cameras had one in which was AI-converted, and they don't come up too often.... Wasn't a lot of money really, and I can probably get my money back if I choose to.
Amazingly compact. It's a Tessar design, so will probably have an interesting 'look'.
