If you're shooting in Manual, it might be worth looking at an AC-3. Definitely worth a £50 investment to get such easy control of both manual and TTL.

I'm a bit late to the party but if anyone is looking for something between chinese stuff and pocket wizards there's always Elinchrom Skyports. I've no problem syncing at 1/250 with my digital camera or up to 1/500 with my film camera.

In the meantime I had a very quick play with the pw's today. Shot a young lady in her karate suite at 1/1250 sec with the flash in manual on full power and ambient undetermined exposed. Happy days. Will post image later when i'm home from the pub

Ryan, have you tweaked the HyperSync feature? What speed are you getting with that? And is optimsed high speed sync available with the Nikon versions? Is that what you were using?
