OCF sync speeds.

If you're shooting in Manual, it might be worth looking at an AC-3. Definitely worth a £50 investment to get such easy control of both manual and TTL.

I'm a bit late to the party but if anyone is looking for something between chinese stuff and pocket wizards there's always Elinchrom Skyports. I've no problem syncing at 1/250 with my digital camera or up to 1/500 with my film camera.

Thanks Mark. I wasn't aware of an AC-3 - Will go check it out.

In the meantime I had a very quick play with the pw's today. Shot a young lady in her karate suite at 1/1250 sec with the flash in manual on full power and ambient undetermined exposed. Happy days. Will post image later when i'm home from the pub :D

Ryan, have you tweaked the HyperSync feature? What speed are you getting with that? And is optimsed high speed sync available with the Nikon versions? Is that what you were using?
