like the tomato, losing the vivid colour of doesn't effect it in any way as looks great in B+W, nice straight lines too ;)

also like the walking stick badge, nice light and shadows

nice shot, i agree it needs a bit of tweaking though. we all have 'those' days sometimes...
 
Yeah, and today is one of those days... The cameras shadow is in the picture, focus is out, composition isn't that brilliant either. But I ended up polishing off that whole box of Jaffa cakes by myself which did - on some levels - help. :D

I can't post today's picture due to some weird things happening on the pc. But hey, this weeks song is 'Memphis Soul Stew' by King Curtis. <~ I first heard this Wednesday night on The Trevor Nelson show, (Yes Radio 2). And with such brilliant use of lyrics and simple Use of great instruments it just shouldn't be a missed song. :)

I shall post today's picture tomorrow! :D

This graph is for my geography AS-level and its based on data about glaciers retreating and expanding... the black parts show the glacier retreating, and whites means expansion. (The two lines are winter accumulation and ablation). And this data ranges from the years 1959 to 1979. Very quite interesting, yet sometimes scary. :)
 
Hello some good stuff there - god remember those badges off walking sticks - my grandad used to have one with so many of the bloody things on there.......

Apologies - not time to scroll every single page at the moment - through from what I have seen I like - what do you use to convert to B&W? Lightroom?

Hey Lynton, Yeah my grandads stick has about a dozen, from all places across norfolk!

Thats cool, and please don't slap my wrists but I shoot straight into black and white! Glad you like what you're seeing! :D
