Travelling and Photography are the main things I want to get out of life... I thought this kind of represented how I want my future to pan out. Hope you like! (=

I'm not quite sure on this one, so let me know what you think please! :)

i like it. love b&w stuff, particularly like the reflections on the figure and the textures...

todays is a good shot as well...

Another self-portrait tonight...

Optimusbri, I was very close to having my first colour shot in today. However... Once I got the picture home and looked at it closer, I felt I had to shoot something else.

Song of the week: 5 Years time, by Noah and the Whale.

Thanks for a great first (Full) week of your thoughts and comments! Here's to another 51!

Thats the trouble with dark hair! lol. Unfortunately was running out of banister so I couldn't come down another step...! Glad you like it though! (=

very nice sp...it looks very smooth though. i do love contrasty, grainy b&w...probably because i am old and was brought up using 35mm slr's ;)

Me too! Thats why I photograph alot in Black and white. I've recently collected a Canon T90 and a Olympus OM10. So when I'm back in the swing of things (that is college) and I can get into the schools darkroom there will be 35mm pics on my 365 too! I'm currently in my photography lesson, so I'm 'allowed' to write on here during the lesson, because its 'photography' related. Am currently on a project about Landscapes, the basics. I mean the very very basics... :runaway:

Post again later with picture. (=

look forward to seeing the film pics...i finally sold my om2 and om10 early last year. i am really liking the convenience of digital though. if you are interested check out my flickr set called sheringham fishing boats...they are scanned from transparencies i took in the late '70's...

I defiantly will! Unfortunately this schools computer system is highly sensitive, So none of the pictures on Flickr show up, So I'll have a look later! Maybe expect some film shots in the next few weeks... =)

I've got a few film shots already but nothing decent yet, still getting to grips with the whole processing thing... But the T90 is in mint condition and ticking over beautifully... Haven't used the Om10 yet but it looks lovely, and the previous own took lots of care with it... :D

Evening everyone,
Been a really busy day so nothing much today, hope you like it none the less!

Todays lesson learnt: Keep a camera on my person at all times.

Just a quick picture tonight, I've been revising all evening for my physics exam tomorrow... Not quite sure about it, so all comments (the good, the bad and the ugly) will be very much appreciated.

well here it is... 12/365

Time has been short for photography so far this week... and might be for the next couple of days, so if my photography drops in standard over the next few days many apologises in advance... but next week should be better... Fingers crossed. (=

Thanks! Yeah it's nice that everyone is doing some different! I just wish the mods would update the list with people doing the 365's and 52's like they did last year in general photo sharing, so it's easier to keep track of who's doing what!

it is a bit of a job keeping up! i couldnt get to salisbury this morning, turned back due to snow and ice...5 hours driving nowhere :bonk:

still gives me time to check these out...liked 11 alot!

Oooh ouch... That sounds like a bad trip! Hope you're home safe now!

Today's 365 will be coming along shortly! (=

Hellooo,

Nice evening of chillin' out, and I spotted this photo opp in my room.

Its been a very long day today, with the physics exam and a suprise (mock) maths exam. Lovely! This was all tied in with another lashing of Double physics (Quantum physics. deepest of joys).

nice one, odd stuff on shelves. works...

Some really well thought out shots in the set so far.

The scrabble and bookcase shots stand out for me.

I love the guitar shot.. great shots so far.. good going fitting a 365 in with all your studies!

Heya,

@Namllihs: Thanks! I like to believe I think before hitting the shutter... (=

@Mich66: It did get a little difficult a couple of days ago, with the physic exam an all... but (fairly much) back on track n flying... :D

It goes under the caption 'Caught in an instance, yet lasting a lifetime.'

good idea, well carried out...

Thanks... I just seem to love old photos. My late grandpa enjoyed picking up a camera and he had some great shots, this however isn't one of his but was one of his favourites.

Older photos just fascinate me, they were captured years ago yet are still around. Probably sounds rather quite stupid, but hey. :)

Great shots all the way so far! I now see your a b&w fan too!

Keep up the good work!

Black and White all the way... Landscape, portrait anything except wildlife... I try and get away with as much as possible... Could possibly do the whole 365 in monocolours... I'm still deciding. Lol.
And thanks for the feedback!

Please excuse (in my opinion) the quite naff picture today. Have been walking around trying to conjure something up this evening for well over an hour now and alas... nothing. However I did have a photography lesson today, and the corridors of my school can be an interesting subject sometimes...

So here it be...

(: rosa

Hey! Well firstly welcome to TP. And thank you for the comment... You've defiantly come to the right place for help in photography... Nice to think you're
gonna get more in to it! (=

I like the idea of a B+W 365.. wish i'd put more thought into themes on mine.. but never mind

great shots so far.. like the corridor, something about repeating patterns appeal to me, and the ghotsly figure is spot on ;)

Hellooo,

Right... I've finally come to the decision of doing a year in black and white... however outside of the 365, I shall be doing colour! =) Like Briony said I will be desperate by the end of the year if I don't.

Thank you Mich for the comment on the corridor shot. The scary thing is, you say you like the ghostly figure, but I can't actually remember anyone being there! Must be going :cuckoo:

Here's todays...

Ooh forgot to add a song of the week... This week it is a radio one live lounge cover, the song is 'when you were young' covered by the Noisettes. Now normally the noisettes don't take my fancy, however acoustically I think they're great. This is a great cover of a great song... Not really related to photography but hey. (=
