Norvic-boy's black + white 365...

day 17 is nice...its good to hear that you are going b&w for your 365. mine has mostly been b&w as i prefer to shoot that way. every now and then i make colour pictures, but only when there is a good reason fot it...

Well todays is the first 'outside' picture... We were taken on a fieldtrip today for photography, the idea was to do landscape, however with overcast skies, and a poor choice of location, nothing was really achieved... :gag:

However I did get todays shot there... not entirely convinced with this shot, but its the best 'wildlife' I could do with only 55mm to play with!

Now i've finally got a compact camera, so maybe some street/photojournalism shots coming up... Can't promise anything though! =)

18 is a good effort, i like it...

Hello, like the corridoor shot, bit strange about the ghostly figure....and i think that the swan picture is good :)
I hate winter, i'm not inspired as much, once spring arrives, the photos will be rolling out! Plus I might own a snazzy new camera :D

Here is todays... excuse the grainyness of it... (If thats even a word... :cuckoo:)

Thank you Fodzilla, I'm still not entirely please with the shot, but hey, I'm not gonna be please with 100% of my shots that I take and post. =)

I love your shot for day 17, mate. Well done.

he is a fascinating man. its interesting to hear how the wars effected him, he seems to remembers every death he catalogued and carries the guilt for being there and not helping. what a burden! no problems for the info his work is amazing. google image brings up loads of stuff...

Very fascinating man, like you say must be a bell of a burden! Quite a courageous thing to do though, risking life and limb and surely mental insanity too, just to document the goings on. Would have been interesting if he was let out into the falklands war... But once again thanks for bringing his great photographer to my attention. =)

vietnam was fresh in the mind in those days, the war had only finished 6 or 7 years before. the uk government learned the lessons and strangled the coverage. tim page and don mccullin running about photographing the aftermath of phospher grenades on badly equipped argentine teenage conscripts would have altered the perception of the war drastically...

ah of course it was... Yeah I see what you mean, It would have been quite interesting though to see what he came out with. I've just had a look on google images of some of don's work... there's some pretty horrific stuff there!

Todays shot will be posted soon... hopefully... =)

Well here it be...

Took this just before I went out on a driving lesson... plus I always seem to have my head in a book at the moment!

Hope you like!

Really nothing much for today... Had a shoot for a school project, firstly, my model didn't turn up, then found a second one... it was planned to be outdoors, then it started rainning... I then edited everything I like, I was going to post one for todays 365, but when I looked through them I didn't really like any of them that much... :bang: ... What a day. =)

lol, my old stand-by...if lacking inspiration we shoots the boots

Good evening...

This weeks song will probably have to be... erm... not sure yet... lol. I will post a song though to keep up tradition. :D

Hey, thanks briony... I had two possible songs this week, and weirdly I went for a relatively old song... Iggy pop - 'the passenger'. Just love this song and have listened to it loads of times this week.

end of a good week, well done...

like number 22 mate, even after a hard day behind the camera you have still managed to pull off a really nice shot even if its not really what you wanted to post

well here's todays, all the way from my physics lesson...
