Hugo looking inquisitive! by Swansea Jack, on FlickrOne from yesterday of the mutt, liked it for his inquisitive look. Also, nice to have some sunshine for a change, back to rain today though.

Lovely capture Graham, the photo info states a X-E1 and XF14mm (?)

. This one is actually with a D810

Great Tit. by Swansea Jack, on FlickrThanks George.
Trying out the 80-200mm f2.8 lens for garden birds, doesn't seem as good as my old 300mm f4 AFS lens, but can't complain for an older lens. I suppose it's more suited for general photography, portraits, landscapes etc....

Perhaps it's the D810 that isn't as good as the 750...

Squirrel by Swansea Jack, on FlickrLiked this one of a squirrel nicking the birds peanut butter of the perches.
Also trying out JPEG's, which I haven't used since changing from the Fuji XT1 to the D750 a couple of years ago. Pleased how they turned out, as when I changed from the XT1 which worked well with JPEG's to the D750 I was dissapointed with the results. Handy to know when you're short of space or time for processing.

Nice well composed shot Simon, plenty of detail, and spot on exposure.
"Looks like your getting on real good with your D810".
George.
She hasn't bought me the 20mm out of her bonus yet! [emoji6]@Swanseajack - Nice landscapes mate...![]()

The 300mm lens is really fine, the 1.4 TC arrived today. So far using the 300mm I believe it can be restricting length wise, I'd say a 500mm/600mm would be the compete ticket!Nice low POV of the duck. How are you finding the 300mm PF lens?

20160408-20160408-DSC_2817.jpg by -Gregg Gorman-First few shots with the new to me 14-24, amazingly wide, handles distortion really well, and looks to be sharp so far. I went for a cycle with the gear on my back, 20 miles with a few more kilos on your back really makes a difference!
A couple hand held;

Nothing special but I quite like it. Just a shot of the bell tower at one of our local churches, should have had two bells but history tells me they run out of cash for the second one.
This shot has had quite a pull up, bearing in mind that it was shot from across the road with a 105mm lens handheld. Still amazed at the detail retained from these bits of kit.
