Nikon D750 & D780

I never had an issue when I went and it was free too.
They only charged on 5 days between 10am to 4pm last year. I think it only covered Dockey Wood rather than the whole estate. It was £3 for adults, £1 for children.

I know someone who turned up around 3:30pm last year, paid but then was told they couldn't take a tripod in so they got a refund and waited 30 minutes for the restrictions to be lifted.

I can understand why they did it. Whilst most photographers seemed to be careful I saw a few portrait photographer groups trample through the bluebells and sit down in them.

Is it worth a trip? Busy most days? Guess timing is key.

I think I went just before they started charging. In all honesty we were amazed there wasn't a p&d machine. It's a massive place and surely no one would begrudge a quid or two. It would certainly help with the maintenance costs of the site. It was absolutely boiling and when we returned to the car the whole site was packed solid.

The tripod ban is ridiculous, you can do more damage with a Yorkshire Terrier than a tripod.

We travelled 3-4 hours to visit, and arrived at 6am. We were the second car in the car park so coming back to the car park to see cars triple parked on the grass all the way down to the gate and on the road was pretty astonishing.

Definitely worth the trip.

Anyone been to the Photography Show before at the NEC? Any good?

Hoping there'd be some good bargains around, but afraid it'd be more like wishful thinking than reality.

I go every year. Some years it better than others for bargain. But always enjoy going

Thanks, Andrew - see if I can get a pass from SWMBO.

Nice signature, by the way. ;)

Not at all. Hyper active 6 year old and a cocker spaniel got to go with what you got. May have got the aperture wrong. Focus was good thou and quick [emoji6]

Haha OK new boy error yoda [emoji4]

Not happy with no explore yet. Going to have to get some landscapes done. Just flat as a pan cake here

Ive just been trying my Nissin SC-01 Universal flash extension cord on my D750, i cant get the attached Nissinn flash to fire, it works when i fit the flash gun directly to the flash shoe, but not via the cord. This worked fine on my D3100, D5100and D7100, but not on the D750, has anyone any ideas?

I went last year, might do again this.
I've been going for the last few years. I've gone a few times in the week but last year went on Sunday. Normally I look at the talk lineups and decide on a day depending what's on. I think this year I will go with Sunday again as I can't take time off this year.

The D750 has a weird hotshoe, try pulling the cable back a little in the hotshoe.

Will try that, I have been pushing it home more, because the D7100 always had to have it pushed fully home
