Nikon D750 & D780

@snerkler Exactly as I walk around Peak Design slide with the D750 and 24-120 on a side clip and the tripod clip. 11 miles hiking on rough coast walks and it just stays by my side.

How did you do the fire??

Update on the service recall for those who care:

Still awaiting repair, phoned again today and they're going to talk to workshop manager first thing and get back to me. Although the phone call seven days ago clearly didn't make it urgent enough!

Really disappointed (although I kind of expected it) that's it's taken too long when it's their mess up in the first place. Or am I just being unreasonable expecting it back in 2 weeks from the day they received it.

Hopefully I'll see it by the new year. :(

Not great tbh as I got mine back within a week, both times. That being said I'd rather them have taken a month and had it come back without any issues.

I guess that "Door stop" is still there :sneaky:

So I tried the Think-tank retro 7 and Tenba DNA 11 and have kept the Tenba.

Such a great design, lots of features that make it near enough a perfect design. I will pop up a small review and comparison with some pics tomorrow.

The clips on the main flap are superb and the quick access flap on top is a very well thought out feature.

I did love the retro, but the Tenba just worked out better (for me).

I was out shooting last night when all the items in MY MENU disappeared. It is only showing CHOOSE TAB and when you select MY MENU or RECENT SETTINGS all that shows is CHOOSE TAB. It no longer shows the options to add/ remove items etc and all my items have gone. Anyone had this issue or knows how to fix it as I have a night shoot planned tonight. I know i can use the other menu options for tonight but it's best to have them all in one place when faffing around in the pitch dark.

After having to get CC LR and PS I decided to try editing in LR for the first time (huge learning curve for me as I`ve always used PS) But just thought I`d share ;)

One of the very few from Prague ...

If that's the style you are looking at why not stick Tenba DNA messeneger in the mix? Or even the cooper if you are feeling flush

Thanks for this Chris. The DNA bag is superb and very well thought out. Perfect size too!

@JJ!
I'm selling a 35mm 1.8G in the classified which i did not remembered i bought from you. After I find a message from conversation that pointed that you were the seller. It took me half an hour to sort through you're messages in the sale section to find the right thread. Looks like you have own and sold every prime lens that Nikon makes and this a few times each. You do not joke when you say you have GAS!

I want a 16 I think, or maybe a 14.

My recent GAS? Enola Gaye smoke grenades!

Every year at Chatsworth House they decorate the house with a Christmas theme. This year is the Nutcracker and featured actual Ballet Dancers in one of the main halls. Here is one of the dancers on the balcony overlooking the hall.

Light inside was very low so it was a fine balance between getting a fast enough shutter to freeze motion and keeping ISO within reasonable limits, This is shot at ISO 6400 in natural light.
