Not great tbh as I got mine back within a week, both times. That being said I'd rather them have taken a month and had it come back without any issues.Update on the service recall for those who care:
Still awaiting repair, phoned again today and they're going to talk to workshop manager first thing and get back to me. Although the phone call seven days ago clearly didn't make it urgent enough!
Really disappointed (although I kind of expected it) that's it's taken too long when it's their mess up in the first place. Or am I just being unreasonable expecting it back in 2 weeks from the day they received it.
Hopefully I'll see it by the new year.![]()

How dead is it?
Thats not good it failed but it's great you had it backed up. A great advert for backing up by the sounds of it.Dead dead mate. I just installed a new one now, but fortunately had all my pix on a back up drive![]()

I was out shooting last night when all the items in MY MENU disappeared. It is only showing CHOOSE TAB and when you select MY MENU or RECENT SETTINGS all that shows is CHOOSE TAB. It no longer shows the options to add/ remove items etc and all my items have gone. Anyone had this issue or knows how to fix it as I have a night shoot planned tonight. I know i can use the other menu options for tonight but it's best to have them all in one place when faffing around in the pitch dark.
I got GAS but its not the same sort :banghead:Oh GAS!
24mm f1.8g is on its way!

1st inversion by Graham, on FlickrIf that's the style you are looking at why not stick Tenba DNA messeneger in the mix? Or even the cooper if you are feeling flush
Wow, look at all those chocolate coins! Just in time for Christmas too!

@JJ!
I'm selling a 35mm 1.8G in the classified which i did not remembered i bought from you. After I find a message from conversation that pointed that you were the seller. It took me half an hour to sort through you're messages in the sale section to find the right thread. Looks like you have own and sold every prime lens that Nikon makes and this a few times each. You do not joke when you say you have GAS!
Huh?!
I have only ever owned 28/35/50/85!!
Never owned: 10.5/14/16/20/24 (on way)/35dx/40/45/50 1.4/58/60/105/135/180/200/300/400/500/600/800
So plenty of GAS left!!
