Was that "in camera" B&W or LR/PS change ?Every year at Chatsworth House they decorate the house with a Christmas theme. This year is the Nutcracker and featured actual Ballet Dancers in one of the main halls. Here is one of the dancers on the balcony overlooking the hall.
Light inside was very low so it was a fine balance between getting a fast enough shutter to freeze motion and keeping ISO within reasonable limits, This is shot at ISO 6400 in natural light.

Controlled chaos by Graham, on FlickrGuess they`ll have to get a new "door stop" now pmslLast update:
Camera back and packaged very well, looks good as new. It's had a new shutter, rubbers and a sensor clean. Looks mint. Shutter count not reset. Came back with all my saved setting in and the AF seems just fine.
I'm happy![]()
Time for someone else to try it hahaGuess they`ll have to get a new "door stop" now pmsl

Did you make a shutter count before and after it went in then for if/when you sell it?

Thanks George. I can't take credit for the pose though, none of the shots were staged I just grabbed them whilst she was 'working'. If you're interested I've uploaded some more on Flickr."Cracking" shot Sir, love the pose, lighting, and the well controlled exposure.

Closest I can get them in my garden is about 8 feet. I got the camera within a foot of this guy I reckonWe have a family of Robins in our garden. They defo seem really tame.
I put it down to I keep saving their nest from the magpies.
One flew into the garage the other day and sat by the rear windows waiting for me to open them.Closest I can get them in my garden is about 8 feet. I got the camera within a foot of this guy I reckon![]()

Why? is it one of those things if I stare at the leafs for 30 seconds I can see Jesus?Did a few shots for a friend of their 6 month old baby... don't look too closely at the leaves! They were keen for a 'autumn/winter' theme, and yes he was as cute and well behaved as he looks!!!

Passed this photo on the unread posts tab a few times this morning. Bloody love it.
Thanks Ian, much appreciated.Passed this photo on the unread posts tab a few times this morning. Bloody love it.
I could have expanded slightly granted, but it just really stood out among the many new posts. A beautiful subject with lighting and detail where it needs to be. Almost abstract due to the contrasting areas or light / shadow (to my eyes anyway). Well done, againThanks Ian, much appreciated.
They look super-imposed to me - could be wrong though. Why? is it one of those things if I stare at the leafs for 30 seconds I can see Jesus?
Shanny sn600sn, or Yn568. I prefer the shanny due to the locking system.I'll ask in here as this is the font of all knowledge
