Nikon D750 & D780

That's rubbish Mark - hope it gets turned around quickly. At least you have another camera to play with in the meantime though :)

To be fair there's nothing actually wrong with it but it's one of the batch affected by the recall at least they are doing it even though it's a grey.

I'm looking toward to getting out with the D300 over the weekend

Am I being stupid or just even more stupid...

When selecting shutter speed I jump from 1/100 then 1/125 then 1/160 etc.

I swear I have see shots taken at 1/120??

Have I changed my settings or just imagining things!???

Depends which mode you're shooting in and what the camera is choosing form you.

AFAIK you can choose to change in full stops, half stops and third stops. 1/120 does not fall into any of these so I'd be surprised if the camera has selected this, I didn't even know it was programmed to do this if it has

Maybe you can select 1/120 for video? I don't shoot video so wouldn't know ;)

If not printing should i use Srgb or Adobe rgb colour space in camera shooting menu?

Then in LR6 export in srgb again?

Colour space should be the same throughout ideally, although if you shoot RAW it shouldn't matter what your camera is set to in theory. sRGB is the Internet and consumer monitor standard so I tend to work in these as all my screens (monitor, phone etc) is sRGB. If printing I print direct from Lightroom which uses the widest colour space anyway (pro photo), and as I shoot RAW I'm using the full colour space (although can't see it on my monitor ).

This must be a record, 16 hrs since the last post in here. Everyone fallen out with D750?

I prefer the before..

To be fair it doesn't look like much has been done. Maybe exposure and white level lift with highlight reduction, contrast, sharpening and maybe a touch of saturation/vibrance. The first 4 parts could have all been done using the curve adjustment instead.

Of course I could be well off the mark ;)

I deliberately underexposed at the time but a little bit of punch in PP really brought out the colours.
Beat me to my post. When you add 'punch' do you use a similar method to what I mentioned or do you literally use the punch preset?

Well that's my GAS satisfied for a short while... A new D7200 arrived today from HDEW (my second one) and I've got an 85mm f/1.8 arriving tomorrow (also my second one of those). If you're wondering why, it's because I decided a few months ago that I wasn't going to bother shooting any more weddings so I sold my last D7200 and 85mm and bought a Fuji X-T10 to play with. Over those past few months, I've been persuaded to start shooting weddings again (with three bookings for next year already and one in 5 weeks time so I decided to sell the Fuji and grab another D7200 and 85mm). :D

My Better Half is going bonkers at me but I've promised her that I'll only be buying two more lenses this year (well, maybe three) and that they're all for the D750! :D

Interesting, thanks for this always useful to see someone else's workflow. I never use split toning, maybe I should pay more attention to it.
