I went straight for the Sigma 150-600mm Sport... I preferred the higher build quality over the C and the Tamron.
It's an absolutely fantastic lens on my D750.![]()
It's tempting. Do you handhold it or mainly monopod?

Two really great shots again Sir, #2 is definately the stronger for me but both are right on the money.

Is that a good thing or bad about very engaging
Hmmm. Both sigma 150-600 and tamron 150-600 are the same price. Anybody got real experience with either/both. Anybody used either/both on the d800 as well as the d750?
Cheers pal.Very nice Andrew (do you prefer Andy or Andrew?). Anyway, if the person is looking at the camera you absolutely want it to be engaging imo, and you've captured this very well.

Currently editing some pictures from the wedding I shot and am loving the D750 files, especially on a day with strong sunlight that means keeping detail in the dress is tough going.
Keep your eye on the European Amazon sites Shaheed, picked up my Tamron for less than £700 last year. Haven't used it as much as I should, I knew it would be a novelty buy for me but really want to do RIAT this year so planning on doing that. Then I may trade it in, really want to complete the set with a 24-70 and 70-200, the latter probably next year though. Will say that I'm very impressed with it for the money. The Sigma S is built like a tank but twice the price.

Highlighr priority metering is a godsend for that.
And you get used to how the camera handles, I usually shoot in AP, but I know in certain situations that I need to dial in -0.7 on the exposure compensation to get what I want out of the camera.
Nice crisp shots those. That 80-200's not bad for an oldie is itHere's my first attempt at motorsport.
I wasn't there for this, I was going to the dog show, but on my way past, I thought I'd grab a couple of shots.

You don't have to copy Twist you knowNo way the Xt1 is better than the D750.
