Nikon D750 & D780

Mine on the camera when I want a light walk about.
 
Satisfied my GAS for a short while with a Nikon f80 and box of Portra 400
 
Sorry for this question. I searched but cannot be 100%.

Does the D750 have eye focus and eye tracking through the viewfinder or just LCD?

It doesnt have eye focus.... at all. Its not mirrorless.

Great stuff.

I might get a bonus of £6k to £11k (pre-tax) depending on several factors. It will be paid in May, but need to keep it aside for a deposit in buying a home.

Thanks Twist. I was watching a review and it appeared to show eye focus. Thanks for clarifying.

Perhaps you saw a focus point set to 3d track a specific object such as an eye. It has face detect which shows the box in live view but Nikon AF in live view is slow vs mirrorless.

I'm hoping for 4-5K pre-tax at a push. Which to be fair, isn't bad considering I'm a part-timer these days lol

I have got my GAS in control now (I think :rolleyes:) and hoping to save the money for a home.

Been there done that, thankfully I started young with that. Its not just the initial cost, its ongoing. Best thing I ever bought though.

Yeah we already have property, got that under control before the camera obsession started lol

Still owe some money to the builders for my new kitchen though :(
 
Last night cooked a special item for my wife on Women's day. It is a fusion food in terms of both cuisine and method of cooking.

Stir fried veg (young broccoli florets, asparagus, mange tout and bamboo shoots) and slow pan roasted Salmon in mild teriyaki sauce and a fragrant Thai stir fry paste. Turned out really nice.

SB 700 bounced off the ceiling.

I made brownies from the Hawksmoor at Home book at the weekend, and been cooking quite a lot from Jamie's Everyday Superfood book, but I keep eating it all straight away instead of taking pictures lol
 
For those who are interested, the US price of the Tamron 85 1.8 VC is announced at $749 and I assume it will be at least £150 more than the Nikon 1.8G in the UK.

It has the best eye focus and eye tracking out there,...... 'you' ;)

Quality, fella, as usual. Like the angle of the first but I personally would have liked to see the whole car.

@snerkler no, no grads for me, I'm too poor as i don't get a bonus. I did bracket my shots though but funnily enough all the shots i have used have been the first 'correct' exposure rather than a HDR.

@skiking it's a fair sized crop but i wanted to try something I've had in mind for a while. It's not quite the right shot to do it with but I'm quite happy with it overall. There are people in the background so showing the whole car wouldn't have offered anything imo.

@T_J_G Typical mate. At least you're warm (and fuzzy inside!)

@JYC Hit the nail on the head mate, public sector and bonuses don't mix.

Just a follow up from earlier post about Panamoz times. Very pleased to report after ordering my 2nd 750 on 4th march - received today at lunchtime (there was a weekend in there) . Camera charged and tested all is well . Very quick service and full progress reports along the way.
