You say better Tommy, do you mean just more powerful? What's the build like of them? Could do with a couple of cheap flashes, I have an sb700 but not going to spend £300 on its big brother for the little I do.
I quite like the idea of a macro lens as it's an area I've never really explored.
I recently bought a 24-70 for weddings which I love. Going to pair this with a 50 prime on another body. At the minute it's between the sigma art or the Nikon 58......want the 58!I think Sigma's new stuff is much better with regards to QC.
Maybe i should just save really hard to get thw 58... Meh.
It's official, I'm one of you lot now.
D750 and 24-120 has landed![]()
Be interested in your thoughts vs xt1. Congrats on the new arrival.
Try resizing a 6400 raw to 16mp and compare with the x-trans one. You'll see how clean it really is.It's heaver, that for sure...
Very first impressions:
-it's heavy
-ISO 6400 is relatively clean and MUCH better than XT1.
-Wifi transfer isn't the best but not too bad
-it's heavy
-the 24-120 is a nice lens
-but it's heavy
-handling wise - struggling to get used to it, I like how you switch on AUTO ISO.
-only dabbled with single point AF but it's quick and this is in light where I need ISO6400+ to make an exposure @f4

Truedat! And also consider at iso 6400 the Fuji's SS is the same as the d750 at iso 3200. There's a stop difference because of Fuji cheating iso.

I read about the XT1 telling porkies with its ISO. To be fair the 24-120 was never going to stay, since having the XT1 I prefer primes so I'm going that route. So it may be up for sale tomorrow as long as I can find a lens to get me by in the meantime. The 14mm is a bit wide for indoor shots![]()

Weakling.
Get the Siggy 35 with the money you get for the 24-120.
Jeez...do you think I'm made of money![]()
Yes. You were struggling to meet my asking price for the 85 then magic'd up 1200 sheets for a D750!

Its only a hundred squids more used
All of the pics in my previous set were taken with it. Such a good lens.
Find me one for £400 then...
I think you mean 450. The 24120 is worth around 350. A 35 art is 450 used.

I had to dig into the reserves...
Not what you said to the poor fella you robbed blind in the classifieds.
Reserves... WTF are they???![]()
