Nikon D750 & D780

Great pics! Went there on bonfire night a few years ago when we lived in London. One of our friends refused to come with us........because she didn't want to trek all the way up to Yorkshire!!

How we laughed when we told her it was actually in KENT!!
Lol. It is very confusing that Leeds Castle and Sheffield Park Gardens are both down South ;)

Yeah.....not told the wife yet [emoji85][emoji85][emoji85]

But I am selling off a few bits and it's a pretty good price!

Hmmm, I promised to sell some stuff before I bought my back up body, Tamron 150-600 & think tank retrospective..... Ahem, I haven't sold anything, yet....

That's always my line, "it's a such a great deal hun, I'll never lose on it..." But I am slowly getting better and the new family member will keep dads GAS in tact, for now....

Is the 50mm f1.4g worth considering over the 1.8g? Most reviews seem to recommend the 1.8 over the 1.4? But having 1.4 is an advantage?

I looked at the f1.4g when I got my 1.8g (I've had the f1.8d, f1.4d and the f1.8g). It was quite a bit more money and I wasn't impressed with it at f1.4. The f1.8g was better than the other two nikkors I had. I'm only selling mine as I can't justify keeping it together with the 50 f1.4 art. Although it's tiny in comparison and makes a very lightweight set up!

For what you will get for them secondhand I would keep it if its a good copy. I sold mine on when I got the 35art as it wasn't getting much love between that and the 85. I regretted it soon after and will grab another when i have the spare cash, as its a great light setup especially on the d750.

I'll see what sells....if I can sell both my samyang 85 f1.4 and nikkor f1.8g then I'll keep the 50!

However need to balance books after Xmas!!

Don`t forget the Himalayan Gardens ... That`s even more confusing ;) `kin place names.

I got a free day tomorrow, so taking the biggun to Sevenoaks wildlife thing to see if I can get anything of worth :)

Haven't really researched into Nikon off camera TTL flash, what triggers would you need with that flash?

Works with cls you can use you inbuilt flash to trigger it or Yongnuo YN-622

Ok. It arrived today and seems very quick to focus on the d750. Seems to focus in live view too - I know this was a concern over earlier models of the f1.4. Will take a few tests later but so far looks good!

@minnnt I know I'm selling my f1.8g at the mo, but should I hang onto it for a few weeks until you eventually buy it again? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I still struggle with the QC of Sigma stuff.... been bitten too often! Shouldn't be like that :(

(When you get a good one it's good - but that lemon stays a lemon)
