New Old Digital Challenge - Discussion Thread

Indeed, well done @Topsy , your turn to pick a new theme. No rush.

Well done Paul - a worthy winner!

We have a new theme, with several variations (shoehorns) moulded in already. I'll post the thread...

I've submitted one myself, but I realise already it's not got a level horizon. Oh well...

Paul, Kerry, thanks for your kind observations - I'm not convinced but maybe you're right. The location is a rich seam to mine, anyway...

Just popped in a picture of local spring - this water source was relatively well known locally for a high dissolved salts content, and items placed in the water soon become encased in stony deposits.

Congrats Alby, that's a cracking shot - knew it was going to win as soon as I saw it :)

One question re the rules, when it says post processing has to have been done before the starting date does that include resizing for the forum?
I am assuming not but had probably better ask.:)

I think a resizing wouldn't count as an edit, as it's purely for displaying here.

Thanks for your replies to @RyanB above guys. Indeed the challenge is open to all to drop in and out of as and when a theme crops up that appeals; and resizing is not editing the image. Now I must look for one of my own!
