What do you think?

I have just managed to recover about 10,000 files from an old crashed hard drive, I only got the raw .NEF files. I am not a big post processor as you all know. but often they just need a click before posting.
 
I could always post the unedited RAW file I suppose, usually good enough. :)
 
If you load the NEF into software you can just export a jpg from it without editing. You'll find a raw file (whatever proprietorial format - new, or the Olly/Canon etc equivalents) won't actually render on screen.
 
It looks like Stan @rpn was the outright winner in the latest New Old Digi challenge, well done, it was a great image.
Now you need to suggest a theme for the next round please - no rush, just PM me when you think of something

Yep, well deserved, I have to admit as soon as I saw it posted I did think it would be a damn difficult one to beat!
 
Thanks Lindsay @lindsay and everyone else taking part in this Challenge. That shot was taken back in Novemeber 2018 and according to Google it was Storm Diana, named by other Europe countries. IIRC it wasn't wet or raining that day so I was able to get quite close, along with many other photographers, to the harbour entrance breakwater pier.

I have a confession - I had completely lost track of this challenge because I have been wading through the final stages of sorting out my late brother's estate.

So, a surprise bit of nice news this morning and grateful thanks to those who voted for my image.

Lindsay - I will put my thinking head on (as per Worzel Gummidge) and get back to you as soon as I can - but please be patient!
