Sorry I haven’t logged on for a while. Currently on holiday in Greece and happy to go with Donnie’s suggestion.
Thank you to everyone who voted for my entry.
 
Bearing in mind the small number of entries, is it worth extending the time by a week? I've been away and will only get back tomorrow.
 
Just managed to slip one in at the 10.45th hour. ;)

Darn, it was hard to choose a picture.

It's your choice of theme now please, just let me know and I'll create the thread.
 
Wow, I'd forgotten about entering that! Thanks to those who voted for me,

I've been photographing in my local woods today, so how about "Close to home" as a theme?
 
@Craikeybaby Could we do something other than that please? It's been a recent theme in the 52 twice so I think something different would be preferable for those who are doing that challenge

My "DK" (Donkey Kong) photo didn't go down too well when this theme was in DPOTY last year, so I've gone for something different.
 
Only five entries - I guess without Selfies the archives were limited? Anyway, asking for Two votes instead of 3 this time. We'll delay the next theme until the Xmas break so that people might have more time to search their files for whatever we have next.
 
Is the thread closed or do I have until Midnight? All my editing gear is packed away because of plumbers coming (should have been last weekend, now shifted to this weekend).
 
It's annoying, but I'm going to miss both these this month. Hoping Decemer will be a little less pressured.

I checked your settings and you should be getting them. Is your email address set correctly, and have you checked your spam/junk folder? Other than those points I can't see why you wouldn't be getting them
 
I don't have it set for emails, only for alerts at the top of the webpage. TP is a permanent tab on my laptop lol. Edit to add I've unwatched and rewatched so will see if that makes a difference.

I’ll have a think about a theme @lindsay, and drop a message over to you sometime at the weekend.
 
Sorry I've not posted a new challenge thread as promised - but I've reminded myself of Kerry's suggestion and am kicking it off shortly.
 
I've found it hard to choose a picture for this round - so many suitable.
