Catching up with your shots Matthew...
Loving the light trails, especially the clouds giving that sense of movement, good work sir!
Great close up of the coin too, as Jeff mentioned, I too would prefer the dof to allow for the whole coin to be in focus....then you follow it up with a cracking triptych of the coins too, really works well, like that one very much, and then the set of 4 coins, my fave of the coin shots with the black background really working well.
Love the light painting shot. I'm definitely going to have to experiment with some light painting. It will be soon be new camera time for me so might take the opportunity then to have a play around with light painting.
Love the wine gums shot, well lit and great colours, sorry to hear about your neighbour matey.
Great shot of the fire engine, and the smoke really adds atmosphere too the shot too.
The whistle shot, maybe a little bland tbh, but great detail with the name close up, does bring back memories when as a nipper carrying my late dad's ref's bag when he used to referee sunday league footie, hahaha some of the comments I used to hear about the referee at such a tender age....lol...shocking

Again your light painting shot for today is just awesome...love it
