Daily MWHCVT(Matt's) - The Year of the Thousandth

Still some lovely pics here (no suprise really) I like both the coin shots. I've been looking at getting a lenser with some leftover Christmas money, would you say it was worth it?

Thanks pleased that you've enjoyed catching up, now would I yes the lenser is worth it, that would be YES YES YES though I'm a real night nutter so I'm not exactly unbiased, but it's a stunning bit of kit :D

loving that montage!! The full on coin in the lower rights particularly good for me.

Thanks pleased that you like it, the full coin was particularly pleasing the detail is amazing

Wonderful Matt - loads of great details there

Day 36 - North of the Border

Well for the last couple of days you've had macros of my new American silver coins, well today I've slipped across the border, while evading the Mounties and raided the Canadian reserves to brink you this little montage of macro's a first for me as I've sat there and actually put this together in PS rather than the auto software I'd normally use as it wasn't capable of doing what I wanted :D

Maybe you should give us a series of coinlighttrails????

Great shots, Matt, but maybe a bit of a CCW rotation on that one over there........:naughty:

Well shot and the straight on next to the coin angled works very well :)

Very well focused, think I'd prefer a smoother background & less reflection on the top left coin front shot, but the maple leaf bottom right really shimmers beautifully.

Yeah the backgrounds were a little bit of a disappointment there were a little less uniform than I'd have liked :(

I have a load of coins kicking around somewhere. I have an Isle of Man TT 50p and a WRC 20p that are my favourites!
Congrats on post 19k!

Day 37 - Colour Ball...

Introducing a new light painting trick for me, not new to the world of light painting as these have been done for a while now, but this is the first time I've captured one, here you see the ball of colour coming together in my local church, and under a star filled sky
