^Joe said:295 - Nice! Slightly over done for me, I think. Shame about that darn tree (As usual for churches). Nice effort though, what programme do you use for HDR?
296 - Good effort and great colours. I think it's a good stance for a lady with one leg and two feet![]()
I hadn't noticed about her legs ^Joe said:. I think it's a good stance for a lady with one leg and two feet![]()

I thought there was something bugging me when I saw it.... But its a learning point. Like double chins and armpit bulge.. Going strong Mattwell done
Hiya Matt, back to reality now! Some great ideas for the pics, really liking the apples, they are great, super colours. A very good first attempt in the studio, this something I have never done myself, I like the angle you used on that pic.![]()

^Joe said:Super floating apple. nice colours
Hunders said:Hah! Nice effect with the apple.
SamuelSlade007 said:woah!!!!...radioactive fruit...!! run..run for the hills!!...MARGE ..grab the kids and get them in the station wagon...
..love the apple .. is that done with a flash inside the apple??? or just heavily painted... .. or genuinely radioactive..?? ..i don't know??

Sorry Kev we must have cross posted :bang: I was done my carving out a torch sized hole in the back of the apple then carving out the inside of the apple, then a touch was slipped into the hole
It's not To hard and makes an interesting effect
Matt
Nice idea Matt and a very nice result ( now wheres me pen knife)

...so its not radioactive..? ... so i can get the kids out of the NBC suits? ..
very effective this technique... so adds another to his wish list of things to do when got a free moment...![]()

i would imagine shift in the rain would defo account for movement surely as the colours are produced like the prism effect..
..i did think you meant the ground not being level..i know many a tog expects level horizon... so i looked and thought.. but the ground dips like rolling countryside... AHHHhhh panoramic imperfection... least you tried... and for that you get the golden seal of+ for effort ... only 67 to go?
but still doesn't stop me aiming for perfection :bonk:
Hi Matt, great rainbow, as you say, a shame about the imperfection, but I still like it.
:bang:... i tried painting with gel covered flash tonight ... as inspired by Matt's bridge work..
... posted as my week 43 Abstract
^Joe said:Super rainbow!
Matt, suprise suprise I was trying to use your apple picture and do somethign similar myself.
I see you had a 15 sec exposure at f/16, but how long did your light hit the apple for, and from what angle? I had a go but it just looked like I had an off camera flash.
Perhaps my torch was too bright.
?^Joe said:Thanks matt, my little torch is a nine LED thing from Wilko's it's pretty bright!! Could this be an issue as I tried it with it on for 1 second out of 30 and it was like I say, like a flash.
'I first positioned the light to the rear for 5-7 seconds '
To the rear of what? The apple or the camera?

That's a good idea! Thanks Matt, will report back tomorrow with a burn torrch![]()
I need to get my thinking cap on for tomorrow with it being the 300th Day of the challengeIf anyone has any ideas as to what I should do, please let me know

SamuelSlade007 said:know anyone with a sunroof in their car.... fix camera....up outside the car..awesome motion blur??? ... ok..ok...strap yourself to the bonnet OF the car... NO>. hang out of the window, like the guys at Max Power used to do... motion blur blitz..don't need to be going fast.. just a slow shutter speed?? .. make sure other lane empty... lorries are very big and frightening.... i'm serious btw! .. i wanted to do this today... but somehow holding camera and drive seemed a daunting task.. :bang:

Now there's an idea, I'm thinking it really should be a long exposure of some type![]()
SamuelSlade007 said:...any caves nearby...you could do long exposure with painting the walls... underpasses where the lights are out... railway tunnels? ... underground bunkers.. even?? ..
SamuelSlade007 said:in fact... might sound passé.. but light trails with trains..?? level crossing long exposure?
michael23 said:Nice orange Matt, the apple looks really suited to this kind of stuff more so than the orange, but I still like it.![]()
