I’ve decided I’m going to do another Alps trip. This time I’m going to do the Furka and Stelvio passes.
MoT time for 2 of them tomorrow... Might see if Chris can fit t'other in as well. Then (hopefully) Herald pick-up!

Hopefully not at an inflated priceI‘ve treated myself to an air cushion for the long legs of my next trip.

It's now one year since I swapped my Triumph Tiger Explorer 1215 for the Triumph Tiger Sport 660.
I haven't ridden as much as I would have liked (less than 3000 miles) but not because of the bike.
I can honestly say I don't miss the Explorer, she was the perfect bike when we lived in the USA as I munched many a highway mile on her going on long rides. She also took me to France, Italy, Germany, Czech Rep and home again but I would be happy to do the same trip on the 660.
The 660 is fast enough, comfortable enough and light enough to be everything I want from a bike. It would be nice if she had cruise control given I got used to it on the Explorer but I don't miss it as much as I thought I might. I think the ergonomics mean I don't feel the pressure on my hand and wrist. The quick shifter means I don't have to use my left hand so much which is good as I suffer joint pain in that hand quite frequently.
Definitely planning many more rides this year.
Any recommendations for mesh riding jackets? Won't be used for super long trips or super high speeds. As always, as cheap as possible but willing to spend more for some quality!
I've got assorted jackets, all of which are too hot round town, even at this time of year! Hopefully a mesh jacket will allow more air flow at lower speeds.
Ricardo, your link doesn't work for me. What brand/model have you got?
Sadly not though it could be easily added from what I have read should Triumph decide to offer it.Is CC available as a bolt-on accessory for the 660? There's also the old thumb/palm rest gizmo that stops you needing to hold the throttle too tightly.
This is the similar one. Also stocked at Amazon in XXXL so have ordered one from there for the Amazon peace of mind! Fulfilled by Amazon too.
