I have never photographed lightning before and this was just so exciting! I had a real blast and it more than made up for not being able to capture the Perseids!

Well it stayed clouded over but I did get some consolation shots including this one!

I have never photographed lightning before and this was just so exciting! I had a real blast and it more than made up for not being able to capture the Perseids!

Problem with that is you have the EXIF withheld so we cant see it![]()
I maybe wrong, but I think that may be a satellite rather than a meteor - it looks more of solid consistent line, whereas I think meteors should be brighter at one end and fade out in the tail?
