Heat.

it's an excellent weather tool with pin point coverage.

Yes, it is very good, takes a little figuring out at first but it's a very capable app.

I do though prefer the Met Office one.

Anyway, today is much the same as it's been, dull, grey but at least it's showers today rather than sustained, heavy rain. It seems to be calmer wind wise as yesterday was close to storm conditions. Currently 11°c.

Aye it does have a lot going on, I find it very interesting to see some of the global movements and where some of our weather comes from.

Yesterday was fun, our ferry crashed and people went flying but no major injuries I believe.

Heat? I remember that!!! 9.5°C when I got up this morning - and hissing down!

14°-C here at the moment, it was raining a little earlier but has stopped now and brightened up quite a bit. It's still very windy though with rain showers forecast at any time.

Yes, I feel the same sentiment. It is better today though with sunny spells but the showers are still lingering. It's a little warmer than it's been though at 15°c. To be honest though, I prefer the cooler temperatures, I just wish it could be drier.

This morningh at 2.00am I was awoken by thunder. No way could I stay in bed ..:D I went into the back bedroom that faces south west where the storm was coming from up the Bristol Channel. I'd checked the radar on my iMac. Some really good lightning and it was about 2 miles away..I'm sure everyone knows that slowly counting (seconds) between the lightning and the thunder and dividing by five will give the distance. One lightning strike was much nearer and the crack of thunder was really loud. The rain was heavy, too. The radar showed another load of rain to come around 5.00am but no thunderstorm so I must have slept through that.

At 7.30am it was dull as dishwater and more heavy rain. It was cold, too even in the summer house where we have our Saturday breakfast it was only 14ºC so we had to have it in the dining room. It's 1.30pm and it's brightening up so I'll be able to read the paper in the summer house.I really like to be outside and almost live in there :) It faces south east and gets the sun from the outset and all day until about 4.30pm

Really bad in Boston UK , I got up at 4.30am intending to go to the local boot sale , By 4.50 am the heavens had opened and it chucked it down and has continued on and off for the rest of the day , Around midday a massive squall with hail stones , Hail stones in July , Really , The local wether forcast stated NO warm weather for the week ahead , Looks like yet another wash out summer , Lets hope the Labour party can fix it as they have said they will fix everything else ;)

Pretty dull morning down here with temperature of 14°-C at the moment showers and strong wind again.

Meh.

Dull, grey with heavy showers. I'm hoping it brightens up a little as I have a date with some Kingfishers later today.

Currently 13°c.

Very overcast here this morning with a current temperature of 16°-C, light wind with some rain forecast for later.

What a depressing thread this is... :D

I may be able to cheer you up a little. :p

It's currently, wait for it................sunny. There are some heavy clouds in the distance but for now, here, it's been a lovely morning. It's not warm at 14°c but I'm fine with that. There is a warmth to the sun though, if it gets you. There is a less than 5% chance of rain today, so I will let the grass dry all day, then cut it this evening. Not the job of 5 minutes but it really needs doing.

I think after another brief spell of the wet stuff tomorrow, things are to improve.

Fleece gilet and waterproof jacket. Starmer hasn't done much for the weather!!!

Another cracking day, over 20 degrees.

It turned into a belter here today, we even had dinner outside. I could see the clouds in the distance that will bring the rain soon. I got the grass cut though but I needed a very long dip in the bath afterwards.

We got has high as 21°c but it's now 14°c.

It's raining now but very heavy rain will be with us by 2.00am. It's a huge area of rain.

It's raining steadily here at the moment and by all accounts it's going to keep raining until later this afternoon. Temperature is 17°-C at the moment with a light wind.

Not a bad start today, it's cool at 15°c just now, dry and bright but with high, white clouds. It's to start raining at about 1pm though and not to stop until potentially Thursday, with the heaviest rain to begin with, then more sporadic later on.

Glad I got that grass cut yesterday, next job is to paint one of my sheds, guess that won't be today.

We've got 19ºC. That's an improvement so I was able to put our bedding plants into pots for the patio this morning.

At 2.00pm Alexa gave a warning (notifications) of rain here and after I looked on the radar I told my wife she was wrong and the rain was just to the south of us moving East/NE. At 2.15 it poured down.. :D

Alexa here just notified us that 'rain is possible'. She's late to the party.

Only 15°-C here at the moment, quite a bright morning though but very windy with showers forecast for any time.

Did someone say July?

Feels more like November,

Dull, grey, breezy and drizzly here today. Whilst it might be cool, even chilly overnight, I'd much prefer it to silly high temperatures.

12°c here.

Risking the little fun car to get us to Lyme Regis for lunch today. Far less fun if the roof has to go up but just about manageable!

At 2.00pm I had to put on a long-sleeved top. At 3.30pm I had to put on a thermal vest

My wife has just put on a fleece. We're not used to this down here....not in July. :D

Plenty warm enough in the end. Well, 17°C anyway! Nipping down to a different beach on the bike for an ice cream after rush hour.

Earlier on, at 5.30 ,my wife put the central heating on for 20 minutes .

Absolutely beautiful morning here at the moment, hardly a cloud in the sky with a temperature of 17°-C and no wind.

Brighter today so far and it's set to improve further. There's a chance of rain for a short period but it's to stay dry for the rest of the day from around 12pm onwards. The paving slabs out the back are dry, for the first time since Tuesday. Not all that windy and currently 14°c.

Same here but 19ºC as I post..1122. What a difference it makes. Lifts the spirits ,it does. Had brekky in the summer house which was at 33ºC. Had to let it cool down with open doors. Will finish planting up now.

The forecast for us at the weekend is "high 20's"

Yesterday was lovely all day, this morning its raining steadily but supposed to clear up later. There's a light breeze and temperature of 14°-C.

"One good thing though I did manage to get out nice and early to top up on my street snaps taken in the rain" :)

Dare I say it........... it's quite nice here at the moment. Dry, brightish, little wind and 14°c.

A cool but bright start in North Ayrshire ending in a very warm evening. Lovely stuff.

Only 12°-C here at the moment, overcast but dry with a light wind.

Dry, with sunny spells, feels cooler than the current 16°c. Bit of a breeze.

Not as warm or dry as hoped today! At least we were in the car on the way home when the heavens actually opened properly... It had been spitting gently pretty much all morning - not enough to warrant putting the waterproof on (simply carrying the thing is usually enough for it not to be needed in anger!) but enough to keep the camera in its case (X-30, so as waterproof as a rice cake!)

16°-C here at the moment and quite a bright morning with a not too strong wind. It was cloudless earlier but now there are some clouds hanging about.

Dry and quite bright, with sunny spells. Not much wind at the moment and 16°c.

Another very warm day, a bit cloudy now but this morning was glorious.

Been an overcast day but with breaks in the cloud. Stayed dry until just about half hour ago and we had a brief period of rain, big heavy drops too. Dry again now but with heavy cloud. Very muggy. 16°c.
