Heat.

Small cul de sac here. Gritter came down slowly and delivered a good sprinkle of it, then came back up the road even slower and pretty much trebled down. I suppose it's better than then not bothering at all.

0-C here this morning, light wind and quite bright at the moment.

Hard frost here too, it all gone now, but everything was white in the early hours.

I've not seen much of today, been silly busy but it's definately been milder and currently 4 degrees with a dampness to the air, not drizzle but not far off. Not windy but it does feel colder than 4 degrees.

Not a hard frost this morning but it was a bit bracing on Exmouth sea front for an ice cream! Worth it though.

Its supposed to be 5oC out there, but I doubt it. Virtually no wind.

3-C here at the moment and dropping, its been a lovely day here but with a bitingly cold wind that's increased throughout the day.

Quite cold indoors at the moment as they're laying a new gas main outside and as yet the gas is still off. And guess what? we have no other means of heat or hot water, only an electric kettle.

Exmouth, crikey, a blast from the very past. Stayed at a static caravan there back in 82 for a fortnight. I remember the Canberra sailing back up the channel after the Falklands war. Had a massive thunderstorm one night, watched it come in from France, the biggest thunderstorm I've ever experienced.

The weather was hot that fortnight, much the same as recent summers have been.

It was 3.5 when I left work tonight, but our lawn was quite sparkly when I got home.

2°C here this morning. My car's still frosted over but Mrs Nod's was toasty!

Up with the larks this morning, it's quite cold, 2 degrees, very damp but no rain and very little wind, cloudy too.

At least the car was frost free.

2-C at 06-00 this morning with a strong wind. Its up to 4-C now and still very windy but lovely and bright.

"Still no gas back on yet so no heating or running hot water"

It's 5ºC outside but 24ºC in the house because, this morning, we had the carpets in the living room, dining room, hall ,stairs and landing professionally - cleaned along with the three-piece suite and it's all slightly damp so we have the CH on plus two fan heaters going. I dread the electric meter reading next Saturday morning.

I had to Google how to write the degrees 'o'. On a Mac it's Option plus zero. That looks better. For Windows I see it Alt plus 0176. There was mention of a drop-down menu, too for Windows.

Curiously, it doesn't work on Brave Browser but does on FireFox.

I'm not familiar with those. Are you able to make your degree sign like mine....ie tiny and alongside the top of the number ?

Yes, as above on FF, but I generally use Brave.

Edit it also works on Opera

Its the "infinity" symbol I can't get here. ° is, as John says, alt + 0176 and © is alt + 0169 but alt + 236 gives me ý!

Its dark, it's dismal, and spitting with rain :(

Very grey here, it feels cold and damp but 4 degrees is relatively mild for us recently. No wind, just had a nice walk with the dog and by the time I got home, I was glad to take a layer off. Not raining.

4.5 Celsius here tonight. Posting from Android, and I couldn't give a wet slap about a tiny superscript circle. ;)

Much the same this morning, damp, grey and chilly. The heating kicked in a few times overnight, despite being set at only 15°C.

Not raining though, little wind and 2°C outside, although it feels much colder. No frost on the car today.

6-C here at the moment, hardly any wind overcast & damp.

"We finally had our gas re-connected last night at 23-20. I was already in kip as I normally try to hit the sack around 21-30ish as I like to be up & about by around 04-00, I don't have to but I just like to be up & about fairly early"
