It's 6°C but feels colder. It's quite nice though, not brilliant sunshine but it is a bright and dry day. Not windy, just a slight breeze now and again.
8oC, a light breeze and feeling mild.
It rained for a bit, late evening last night, and a couple of hours later it was quite misty.
Its dry at the moment but more rain forecast for this afternoon.
Well that turned into a miserable day. The temp' got up to 9°-C and then it started to rain at about 09-30 and it's been raining on and off since then with the winds increasing in strength steadily.
9°-C here at the moment with a bit of a wind. Partly cloudy with no rain just yet although there are some very dark clouds lurking towards the north west.
Just covered the cars, it's going to get to -3°C apparently, overnight. It's a lovely evening though, chilly, yes with the odd gust of wind but dry. Currently 3°C.
I managed to get out by 05-30 this morning hopefully before the inclement weather set in.
It was 4°-C then and windy but dry, it started to rain at about 08-00 and the wind had then got going quite a bit more. It's now 7°-C with a strong wind and raining steadily. So not much snapping was achieved just then but apparently it's going to brighten up later.
Wet windy cold , PLEASE bring on global warming , nice and hot , Love it .
If I had retired 1 year earlier I would be a Spanish resident now , BUT due to EU laws it's not going to happen now,
As I mentioned before we left we went to south Tenerife, west side, for 10 days. 12 away,in all.I was unable to post because the hotel IP address is banned on here. An historical thing, apparently. I have spoken to Cobra about it and it will, ufortunately, have to stay banned. The daily temperatures, in reality not what the Met Office stated, were 27/28ºC. By 2.00pm I was unable to stand on the balcony tiles barefoot. We're going back in November and February it was so good but for two and three weeks respectively.
It's not been as bad here as February normally is so it looks like the forecasts of wet and mild winters are happening, obviously with cold snaps and even snow now and then but generally not like they used to be. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend getting away from what we do have. Loads of vitamin D,too
Chuffing chilly at 06:30 this morning, followed by gorgeous sunshine once it raised its head above the horizon. Lasted long enough to defrost everything and now grey (but warmer!)
5oC here a bit of a breeze, and feeling a lot less.
A little rain overnight in the small hours, Scattered showers showing on the weather map,
nothing so far.
Must have persisted shortly before it froze last night - cars were icy rather than frosted up! Roads weren't icy though and couldn't see any signs of gritting.
Currently quite a decent day. Watery sunshine with high cloud. It feels like it's about to change though.
I happened to see quite a lot of the early hours outdoors, the joys of a dog with the trots, so I spent quite a bit of time in the garden with her through the night, even a short street walk at about 3am, ish. It was cold but not freezing, maybe on the verge of crispiness but it was a beautiful night. She picked a good night to have a dodgy tum. I actually enjoyed being out at that time, I felt sorry for my dog but it was lovely weatherwise. I grabbed some sleep once it got light and now I'm firing on about 3 of 4 cylinders, so a good recovery.
