We get around 8mb atm & after a couple of days researching the different providers & speeds expected, I upgraded online to TalkTalk's large fibre package + phone calls 10 days ago, we've been with them for years (previously Tiscali) & received conformation email. We should get speeds of 38mb+
2 days later wifey gets a mobile text saying they are sorry we are leaving TalkTalk

So spent 20 mins getting through to someone who apologises & then says everything is now sorted.
Day after checked in My Account & expected date of 20th Oct for upgrade, with new router to arrive 4 days before.
Today I just thought I'd check My Account again to see if the date was the same. "please contact us.........."

FFS, what now?
Decided it was quicker & easier to use their online chat.
they; "Yes Carl I can see your router is en route"
Me; "so why does it say there's a problem & to ring you?"
they; "i'll just check...........(2 mins later)........oh it's showing as cancelled"
Me; "who's cancelled? (explaining conformation email & order #)
they; "i'll pass you to orders dept"
they; "hello Carl, how can I help?" :arghh:
(explained everything again, only to be told I had to re-order) :rage:
Anyroad, cutting a long story short, I go online to re-order, only to be told I already have an order in process & have to wait 24hrs!!!!! FFS! :banghead:
