I too fail to see the issue.
If the "cart" was left unattended in that location, the ticket was wholly warranted.

It's oh so easy to laugh at this sort of thing and have a go at "Yet another moronic brain dead ''Parking Attendant'' jobs worth flexing his muscles but not his grey matter" as one commenter proclaimed in the comments section.
It's easy. Don't park where you shouldn't and you won't get a ticket (there's a similar method which works with sped cameras too!).
Steve.
OT - You've never lived in London then.
All were issued when my car was properly parked, and all have been overturned on appeal.
Never have and have no intention of ever living there!
Steve.
Parking attendants are ******s the lot of them!! Always and everytime!!! It's a joke to ticket this.
There is probably a get out in law that it can't be ticketed just like you couldn't ticket a bike!!!
I got a ticket in staff hospital car park, despite using my barrier pass to get in and displaying the said pass in windscreen (which has my number on so they can check if we pay) because it was the wrong pass (not the wind screen sticker, which I don't put in permanently as I don't want everyone to know where I work) I was fined 50 chuffing quid!!!
So you got a ticket for having the wrong pass displayed and no windscreen sticker?
How is that the parking attendants fault, they are doing their job.
I am sure you would be the first to complain if you couldn't get a space because they were all full of unentitled people who weren't ticketed.
I couldnt get into a barrier secured staff car park without my pass!!!!
Oh and the hospital employ them as security, so much for looking after the security if they are checking cars!!!

He is in a uniform and they thinks he is god. Doesn't look to me as if he is even English, so may not understand how to even read, hence taking a photograph. No doubt in his own country he would be sweeping the streets instead

When I worked in Edinburgh a couple of years ago I saw the "blue meanies" at work on a regular basis, but, one day whilst parked (legally) I watched one stop hos scooter behind a car on double yellows, guy got off and walked around it taking pictures and then started to write up the ticket, I got out the van and wandered over, he saw me and stopped and asked "Whit is it" I replied that I just wondered if he was also going to book the scooter that was illegally parked behind me,"but that's mine he says" so I says, It's on double yellows and started to take pictures with my phone. Warden gets stroppy and starts shouting at me and in the meantime owner of car turns up and buggers off, job done, often wondered if another meanie would have taken advantage and booked the scooter after all the lines are there for all road users.?
See when I'm bored, strange things amuse me and I needed to wind up somebody.
More tickets should be issued if you ask me, especially for inability to park straight and between the lines with sufficient space to enter/exit neighbouring cars.

it's a hard life being a god

Its because the mods love me - they each have a special pet name and fight like children to have 'their' special name on display - it's a hard life being a god
