I had tried to get some nice Tree shots last autumn, so I already knew that I couldn't do it.

I groaned out loud when I saw this week's theme. Then again, that is the reason that I joined this challenge, and it really seems to be working.
 
Well well well hear we are again and so soon! Theme eve is upon us once more! Put yer bin out Shnakey!:banana::naughty::banana:

For the first time in quite a few weeks i’m up to date on a wednesday evening ! A new subject and technique might put paid to that.

Technique for the next 2 months is Monochrome.

Please not this is not black and white..
Monochrome means the presentation of a single color in different shades. This just means that a single color is depicted in different values and intensities. The color remains the same but the elements that differ are the brightness, lightness, darkness or dullness of the color.

I'd say yes.

You may have seen vintage sepia or cyanotype photographs. These are the most common examples of monochrome photography. In such photos, the warm and cool tones were the results of specific toning chemicals used in the developing process
 
It's something I sometimes do a bit of, rather than purely B&W, so that's what I might do :D
 
I do like a bit of monochrome me :)
 
I've always interchanged monochrome and B&W, never thought about the etymology of the word. I can be pretty certain however that my submission will indeed be in B&W, it's what I do.
