It’s theme eve day folks get those Snappers Choice masterpieces in and crank up those creative juices for whatever The Snakester has in store for us tomorrow!:naughty::banana:

That reminds me - I must submit mine from the weekend. Not had time to download or process anything.

Even though I suspect it will a phone shot, I still need to create a pano.

I'm having my BB re-wired tommorow AM.
Not sure how long I'll be off line for ...
Week 16 (easy peasy) see the spoiler V

Edit
now removed. I bet most people looked anyway :D

I thought I had my days mixed up when I saw week 16!

Hope you're not offline for too long.

Thanks Me too.
Same old problem here TBH, aged copper wire breaking down.. FTTC only on BT.

He's patched it for now, but is coming back in the morning and putting a fresh "run" from the cabinet.
Seems there is spare connections as a lot of people here have gone over to "City fiber"
I'm not paying their prices and I don't need 900mbs.
When its running well BT at around 35 mbs and at 26 quid, is plenty for me.

Chris, I'm on cityfiber and I don't pay for 900mb I get 100mb both ways for just over £32 pm and it's faultless, no worries about copper or ali cable degrading, and that includes a phone line as well, but we don't use it.

That's not bad :)
But there does seems to be a bit of a problem with it here, several people in my road / area have complained apparently.
TBH I'm happy with BT, I get my mobile with them as a BB user at £6 / month, texts calls and 2 meg data ( which I never get close to)
And they are usually out next day, ( live chat last night and he was here this afternoon, its never been more than 2 days. )

I promise not to look till tomorrow :p
I bet you already have :p

For mobile I use giffgaff also at £6pm apart from when I know I will need more data then I change to £10 for that month and back to £6 after.
I have not had one problem in the last 3 years I have been on cityfibre on vodaphone, before I was like you, problems every so often. I know talktalk offer fttp in MK so assume they also use cityfibre, and that says a lot.

Talk talk yes I had so many problems when they took over from Tesco.net, I was on first name terms with Dido Harding.
( she was the CEO at the time)
I was on 0.3 Mbs ( yes really) and they kept telling me there was no problem.
I would never use them if they were the last provider on earth.
BT sorted out the faulty wiring, and as above they are here in less than 48hrs if I have a problem.
That counts a lot in my book TBH.

So no, absolutely no chance of me swapping.
£32 / month for BB & mobile phone works for me.

(mind you, I was on a 2400 baud modem at the time!!!)
Who can forget the noise of a dial up :D

I was originally on AOL and then Freeserve. The latter got gobbled up by Talk Talk, and I eventually left - I needed though to delete a website I had on the original "free webspace". I had a hell of a job been getting anyone to acknowledge it even existed, and it too eventually took a direct contact with Dido Harding to get it sorted. I'd never go near Talk Talk again....
On Sky now, and thankfully satisfies needs at a decent speed with only very rare issues.

I thought Freeserve ended up being EE via Wannadoo and Orange.

I was always very careful to spell her name right, to the point of proof reading the emails 3 times before hitting send :D

2 MB... I remember when it took all night to down load that much (mind you, I was on a 2400 baud modem at the time!!!)
I can beat that, I started off with a 300bauld acoustic coupler and bulletin boards.

What speed were the old Watford Electronics modems for the BBC Micro? I reckon a good Morse operator was almost as fast!!!

Years ago, I was on a couple of Yahoo falconry groups, I'd post at night, and hopefully it'd be there in the morning...

Hey!
Sorry if I'm posting on the wrong thread.
Can I join the challenge or am I too late?
If yes, can I start from the previous challenges?
If I don't make any sense it's because I don't fully understand how the challenge works
Thx
Marino
