One of the rarer variations on the 5/600 theme! Not seen one for years.

Liking the Ukrainian colours - deliberate or coincidence, not sure what the standard taxi colours were.

Week 15 Snappers Choice

Kite
by Keith Johnson, on Flickr

The red Kite...we are lucky to see them gliding high on the thermals, but they taunt me by coming lower when I haven't a camera ready! This one however, was very obliging by coming low enough and stayed around long enough to show off its style, grace and colours.

A lovely sight to see - very graceful. Well captured.

Lovely image, I do like these birds. I have seen a couple in the last year I think they are from the Galloway releases

We see a few where we live, but they don't get close, how ever in High Wycombe you could have used a wide angle lens for that shot.

Week 16 Tree

Cedar Tree
by Keith Johnson, on Flickr

This Cedar Tree is in Aperfield Road, Biggin Hill, formerly standing in the grounds of Aperfield Estate, has been singled out by experts to be among 21 great trees of London. This multi stemmed Lebanon Cedar, towers above nearby houses and was selected from over 100 trees because of age, size, species, shape etc and awarded a commemorative Great Trees of London green plague.

It's a whopper! Good stuff.

Technology - Nice piece of kit, do you have to load a specific set of threads to cover the colour range in the image?

Discarded - Did you tidy up the pile specially for the photo? I hope you are better at cutting in a straight line than I am, unless it does it for you.

Flora - Nice bright colours, I need to make sure I'm planting flowers with that ability to survive. I'm an expert flower killer.

Unusual - It's an interesting looking car complemented by its contrasting colours.

Trees - That's an impressive structure, the roots must cover an extensive area.

Wow.. that is one impressive tree. It dwarfs everything else.

Week 17 Hole

Millennium Falcon
by Keith Johnson, on Flickr

There are plenty of holes in this tiny metal model of the Millennium Falcon. The pieces have to be cut out and assembled by linking them together ...another attempt to drive me mad!

In a hole, far, far, away....
Great submission for Star Wars day!

Interesting take on the theme.. rather you than me on the construction front!

Good luck with the construction! I have a couple (Titanic and a Tie Fighter IIRC) of those bloody things that I built during lockdown - had I not ordered 2 at the same time, I would only have one!!!

Certainly fits the theme

Lovely soft light and shadows. A really nice shot.

Love how the setting sun brings out the colour of the leaves.

Week 19 Sports

Safety Car
by Keith Johnson, on Fli

Enjoying Formula One and not being able to go, Goodwood is a nearer and cheaper alternative....The Safety Car from one of the meetings.
