That's caught some nice light and the muted coffee stream creates an interesting image.

Great subject Keith. Looks similar to my Sage machine.

Week 4 Bottles

Bottles by Keith Johnson, on Flickr

Looking for something other than a 'bottle', my wife opened the cupboard and hey presto, there are many a 'bottle'.

Perfume bottles are a good source of unusual shapes.
Nice shot.

God shot Keith.
Expensive set that.
I like the lighting - just enough reflection, not always easy.
What was the base/background material?

I smell a good shot :ROFLMAO: I love the colour palette and the reflections.. The White Jasmine appears a bit floaty on my screen, but we can imagine a little shelf there, and I think it does add to the composition very nicely.

Hi Peter, thank you for your comments…the base was the kitchen worktop and splash back, with soft lighting and reduced exposure.

Yes very fragrant here There is a small black box under the jasmine, the lock on this blends with the top of the Chanel Chance.
Thank you for your interest.

Beautiful product shot Keith. I like the monochrome feel of it.

That’s very nicely done all round Keith and lovely to have such a useful background available. I must remember that next time I get my kitchen done!!!

New - Good lateral thinking on the theme, we go through phases with puzzles. This one looks particularly "fun" with the similar colours to match the pieces on.

Old - I do like the step concept and choice of fabric although having them more central would "focus" my attention more.

Receptacle - Well captured "action" shot with the framing helping.

Bottle(s) - Initially I did see the "floaty" effect on the middle top bottle, although can see the box when zoomed in. I wonder how it would look with all the bottles seperated and a wider view?

Ooooh that's superb!

Really nicely lit and shot. You have a really nice subtle blend of colour.

No edge pieces make that a tough jigsaw. Great capture.

Awesome pooch jigsaw :)

Will try harder when searching for your next jigsaw then.......

Until I read the comments I thought the edge pieces had been removed, didn't realise you could get puzzles without edges.

I wouldn't have the patience to complete the puzzle and I would have ended up 5 pieces short not 5 pieces over... :D

Nice shot Keith.

I find it very disturbing to see those pieces on the side and no gaps to put them in  presumably that is part of the challenge - some pieces just don't fit - what a nightmare!

A lovely rustic alley, with views to the horizon beyond. Very nice (y)

It's a nice shot Keith, leading the viewer into the frame.

Works nicely Keith. The diagonal path pulls you right into the shot.

well taken Keith.
Nice warm shot that makes you want to explore this alley.

Nice shot of a nice place.

That looks like a very pretty place. I hope you dropped in the cafe ;)

Great image with considered composition that take you through with lots to see, I like the separation achieved between the branches and the building.
