I know terrible wasn't it? even I wouldn't stoop that lowbut will excuse the bad pun as you didn't make it
Thanks guysAbandoned... both very nice like the angle and curvature of the building in the first picture, the land rover I like allot nicely cropped great detail nice textures supper shot.
Thanks Paul, its appreciatedAbandoned - the building works well and having only part of it adds to the sense of it just being out of place. Well captured and made the most of the (poor-ish) conditions to get that sense of emptiness.
Fair point,For the Landrover, I think it would be stronger with more of it in shot, if not all of it with space around it -

Brilliant - all of them. Like the zebra best ... has that dejected look.
LOL and I only posted that one for the terrible pun factor, an yet he seems quite popular.for me the Zebra is the one as he so looks sad and abandoned
I did consider using / processing that one, but it didn't quite out how I "wanted" for abandoned.(Strangely, like your last posting of the landrover best, seen through the tall grass gives it that safari look).![]()
After you suggested it, how could I resist Dean?Well it goes without saying that I prefer the stripy pony![]()
Got it in one JillBlimey that Zebra looks sad, he's probably thinking 'oh no, not you again.
Totally Steve, which as you say is a terrible shameIs it stood empty then, if so it seems a shame for such a building.
CheersAbandoned - Love the old LR - cant believe its just sat there ! liking the crop and PP![]()
I know I'm slippingCamo - that chameleon is about as on topic as you can get -
(says more about me though I think ..............) !
Thanks RuthLove the Chamelion Chris! Properly on theme
.Stop it at once![]()
It resembles a frog in a liquidiser TBH(Got any pics of the exploded 1st effort!)
Thanks CarlWhat a beautiful creature that Commando is. Wonderful colouring - lovely shot.
Man flu is looming I'm afraid, loadsa coffee laced with Brandy, several packs of Max strength something or other ...Both images were entirely unexpected from a founder member of the SCC - keep taking the tablets, you'll feel better soon ... I hope)
Thanks for all the kind comments SheylaraHappy: I like the second bear you posted, the one lying on its back. It looks happy and it has a nice pose!
Abandoned: I really like the Land Rover shot with the misty background. Got a serene yet wistful feel to it. Beautiful picture.Especially after seeing the original photo, I think you've done a really amazing job with it!
I like the zebra too. You've caught a really great expression on it!
Camouflage: What a striking chameleon! For some reason, I keep seeing the lower half of its body as a 2D painted on cutout or something like that. It's weird, lol. But nice! Where did you find it? I'd like to see one of these critters for real some time!![]()
.And hope you feel better soon.![]()
LOL I did wonder if people would actually click on the spoiler TBHLove that you camouflaged the linky![]()
The Chameleon is spot on for the theme, nicely captured
Nature is just so amazing.
Cheers GuysWhat an amazing creature. Really does blend in well. Cheers.
Its not looking terribly promising on the flu frontNature ....you can't beat it can you ....fascinating how the chameleon (third attempt at spelling it !) changes colour ....how does it know what colour to be ....I think I heard on tv that it almost has 'eyes' in its skin that sense colour, how amazing is that .......the perfect choice for the theme.
Hope you don't get man flu![]()
Its not mine, and the zoo keeper didn't seem too keen to try it for some reason :shrug:Have you tried putting it on tartan he....he....amazing creatures well done
I think it went down the back of the settee a few weeks ago, and hasn't surfaced sinceHi the chameleon was my first choice too though I haven't been able to get to the zoo, have you lost the shoehorn?
Wow...the colours of that chameleon are amazing!
I know I'm slippingperfect for the theme
Cheers MichaelPicture No1 for me very nice tones of greens the chameleon blends very well against the leafs in the background .![]()
Cheers StanLove the Cameo shot very apt and spot on theme.
LOL, That's a rhinoceros horned viper, ( one of the so called Puff Adders, they have the ability to "puff" them selves up to at least twice their size when annoyed )That snake looks scary to me, the green one not the pinky one![]()
I'm not wellSo what happen to the shoehorn this week?![]()
As above Dean, I'm not wellCamouflage - What can I say, again you have got it on theme, what on earth is going on![]()
