Okay so this will not interest everyone but Amateur Photographer is again giving away a free Reflector or White Balance Tool with next week's issue... :D ...

... buy two @ £2.40 a copy and get one of each... you can then give the spare mag away as a pressie... :naughty:


Personally I think these are great little foldaway, ever-ready tools being extremely light and fitting in the sarnie compartment of your average gear carrier... :shrug:


The issue is on sale from next Tuesday, 22nd September... ;)


And AP is still a pretty good read, for a weekly, imhgo... :thinking:

Hiya m8... couldn't find the actual thing in a hurry but this may help you understand although the 'Free' ones in AP are not quite as big as the thing he is playing with HERE ... :suspect:

Agreed you do get something similar if you sign up but my current issue is where I pulled the information about the next issue... :D ... rest assured they WILL be giving them away next issue as detailed... :thumbs:

They may be smaller than the video link, but not as small as you may think when opened up and they are beautifully formed and surprisingly good at what they do... :suspect: ... I have used one and carry both in my gear bag at all times as they are so light and portable when folded... ;)

The last one they gave away is 450mm or 17-5 ins in diameter.
Just measured mine. Next weeks may be different though.

This is going to create a problem for me :thinking: As a subscriber I will get one or the other through the post - but living in South London, my post is being delivered, on average, a week and a half late :razz:. So by the time i get my magazine and find out which one I have been sent, the magazine will be off the bloody shelves and I won't be able to get the other :bang:

I suppose the only way to do it, is to buy both at WH Smiths, keep them unopened and then return the one I don't want :shrug:

what harm can it do? i'd just prefer the reflector at the moment, saves me buying one :)
 
But you could always nip out and buy the other on Tuesday as I think they are both useful if you look at how they can be used... :shrug:

yeah, but they are like gold dust round here. That's why I had to subscribe :( I've been lucky to get 3 in the last 3 months.
