First trip in Edinburgh was off to Frankinsteins Pub - we walked in and said "any chance you can find a table for 11 of us" a few other customers moved around and voila! We get a corner booth and a couple of additional tables - and have some of the best burgers in Edinburgh!

I technically didnt take this photograph, because I'm on it! ;)​

Catching up a little here really like the self portrait hope your feeling a better now, the monkey shot is great nice expression on his/her face I really need to visit a zoo none close by though :(, and the collage of quirky pics is great have to agree it would look great on a wall.

A penguin Parade, is when they open the penguin enclosure, and whatever penguins come out "parade" around this path. Obviously with about 3-4 zoo attendants too.
Normally there are upto 8-12 Penguins that come out. We had one. But he was a legend so it was ok!

Thanks John! :) Yeah I like random chill out sessions. The date went really well. Ive been single 18months! :eek: but things look promising.

Looks like Edinburgh was a great success. Glad you had such a good time. Some nice images documenting your trip. Sorry to hear the hospital appointment didn't go as planned. Your self portrait is very emotive. Well done you for persevering with this 365. I admire your dedication. I could only manage a 52 project :thumbs:

Between Working and Going out with Bex, I have been editing pictures of Dawn - just a random bored hour spent at her house because I needed to get out. She's so vain! :)

Applied for x-factor for this year too - she best remember who to use for her promo shots or I am gonna sell all her secrets to a newspaper *laughs*​
 
And 'Bombed' that image did babe - same mark as a poorly shot, badly framed, crap lighting, tilted (but not for effect, just not straight), poorly PP'd shot of a statue in a field :shake:

Just what judges are thinking sometimes is beyond me :bonk:

I'll not say what this judge recommended for this image - but it made us laugh (an 'in' joke)

Our judge for the night is an FRPS with loads of winning medals of some sort behind him, and that always gets alarm bells ringing for me :lol:

One shot of a lake and moored boats had 4 boats in it - convention says 3 - so he advised setting one free as the owner wasn't about. Also, it had a barely visible outboard motor on the walkway - kick it off was his suggestion :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

Added to which he said he had 35,000 slides and 600 mounted prints at home, and only 2 couldn't be improved - but improved to whose standard??? I judge comps too sometimes, and I couldn't agree with 2 of his 3 winners for the night

Each to their own eh :shrug:

Judges are :nuts: (and yes, that must include me too :D)

*laughs* Yeah, we got internal judges to stop the mid-range marking, and they mid-range mark! so we're not any better off. Lol

Ive lost my disc for CS3 so I cannot put it onto the main computer. Which is not really bugging me cos my old computer is too slow to run it.
I am trying Lightroom for the time being til I either buy CS3 Or fall in love with Lightroom.

I miss CS3 Already.

Cheese Toasties.

I really wanted bean toasties, but we didnt have any beans. So cheese it was.

I generally dont drink. Not at all. Not even a drop.

Saturday Night I drunk a years worth. I had such a good night and succeeded in cheering up my friend. Just as she needed.

17-year old Adele was back, for one night and one night only. lol

Sunday was a day of sleeping and eating Cheese Toasties.....Oh how my head hurt​

Its half annoying having to use lightroom - but then I was playing with the presets today and found some I really liked.....so I was a happy bunny, but it still doesnt take away my love of CS3.

This image is more about me peeking out from hiding to say hello.

Ive been locked at work all day - then now Im laid up in pain - Im wondering if anyone can see the real me anymore....Im hiding from everyone sometimes.

Including myself.​
