Adele's 365 *FULLY UPDATED* 166/365 210609

David, there is not enough make-up or suspenders for that to be anything even remotely near Rocky Horror!

Well - that's what instantly jumped out at me - so there must be a good resemblance

Anyway, I like Rocky Horror

Today I purchased a new notebook for my poetry - Whispered Words 2009 I have written in the first page.

I always went on with "Whispered Words" because it fitted lovely with the poetry I was writing, words whispered to myself, to no-one else.

Poetry got me through my troubled years at school and College, when I was self-harming, then it went along with the "Secrets Shared" which is an idea I set up to raise awareness of Self-Harm by doing self-harm awareness workshops [I even delivered one to the prison guards of Wakefield HMP!]

And things havent been so good lately, so trying to focus thoughts onto paper, and via poetry rather than anything else.

If your lucky, we may even post a few as my 365 goes on.

*I know theres some "bits" on the paper, but I havent figured out how clone tool works in Lightroom yet lol*

One for Del...

Once I had a nifty fifty
Bought it cheap while being thrifty
Del borrowed it some weeks ago
It's still not back, don't you know
Lending things is such a farce
Bring it back soon or I'll kick your arse !!!

(and no, I don't have any grandkids as yet )

I still havent worked out what is so Nifty with this lens. I must be the only person in the entire world that doesn't get on with it. And whoever recommends that it is the best lens for ANY type of photography, really annoys me *laughs*

So this isnt actually mine. Its what Dave mentioned. I took this before I took it back to him. Ive had it 3-weeks, after he lent me it for 3-days ;) and I wouldnt mind, I took about 2 photographs with it, and put it back in my bag and its stayed nessled in there since.

The best thing was when I was trying to find a plain background for it, I folded a piece of A4 into two and voila! A studio for a Nifty! ;)

I wouldnt buy one - not until I actually LIKE it.

i want a nifty for my cam so sorry ive not kept up with thread hun some brill piccies ive missed out on keep up the good work

this is a great thread, you are showing us the real you. I admire you for your bravey

Thanks Cas, I never said you'd get anything different :) I am who I am, take it or leave it - Unfortunately when I upset people at our Camera Club....

Take the grip off your camera (If you have one), stick the fifty on and go out and do some "street". Great fun! :D

Pah! Why? I don't want to take my grip off - it feels weird without it. I need something nice and big in my hands! ;) And I dont want to do "street" or if I do I'll do it with a lens that isnt the fifty.

At one of the weddings Dave was shooting 70-200 f2.8 and I had on the 90mm f2.8 - I got stuck using the nifty, and hated it!

Well....I had to wait til today to take the snow shot, and It was a case of wake up, look outside, point camera through window and voila!
I wasnt thinking much at 8am!

I wasnt going to post this, was going to see if I could think of something better - alas, I couldnt *laughs*

Hi Adele, think i just noticed you was doing one of these. Have not look though all of it today, just the one's on this page but will look though them all tomorrow.

Is that a Rover 25 i spy in the [31] Snow picture? :D

Today I have spent most of the day infront of the computer editing photographs and making album design composites.

Whilst this isnt for a wedding album, or an example, I actually really like the photo of the child.

Its my friends daughter, taken at her dad's wedding that we at dg-photography did :)
