Well today the doctor put me on anti-depressents rather than painkillers. But they're a very pretty colour.

I think they may be working too! I'm knackered so I'm off to bed!

I wasnt after looking at this for 3-hours today, and just drinking water. No I wasnt trying to self-torture myself an wean myself of Caffine. I took my car to be looked at.

I drive a Nissan Micra, and the Engine Management Light had come on.They wanted to charge to run a Diagnostic on it, and as its under warranty I calmly told them they were having a laugh!

The assistance that came with the warranty, from where I bought it from, picked up the car, they took it to the garage, ran the diagnostic on it, and cleared the error codes.

Showing Cam Sensor Fault and Timing Chain Fault - if it happens again it may have to go to Nissan.

3hours for that!

Now....I'm thinking of trading it in for something else....but I have NO idea what! Its been back for minor things 5 times in 8months. I've lost faith in her now :(

Last time I had a car fault they lent me a £40,000 Lexus instead, took a whole fortnight to solve too as the fault was so rare there were no parts in Europe!

Managed well over 1,000 miles in the £40k replacement too - bring on car repairs I say :)

Sadly, that was in my Lexus days, now it'd be another VW :(

No car repairs for me (please) I say now

And yes, you get a cookie shot instead of the underwear shot ! lol

Today, I went and took some pictures for my friend who was showing some of her Lingere collection from Lay-Well [Like ann summers but a better range] and they had 2 catwalk shows at 12 and 2. This is one of the models that was on before the Lingere collection, and these were just "test" shots, to make sure the lighting check settings etc, so I could "nail" it on the 2pm slot.

Unfortunately, due to the lingere on the first catwalk being "sheer" and the models were wearing thongs, the hotel had several complaints of it being "inappropriate" and the second show was pulled.

I feel this is the BEST of the first lot and not of the lingere. Part of me is just a happy bunny that I was helping a friend out, and not being paid for it.

*edit* before anyone mentions it, yes I do wish I had the back of the dress in :p

Very nice Del, like the lighting on that shot.

Thanks Marc, shame it was the BEST of the day. I wish I had chance to do the second catwalk I was gutted! :(

The light was just a spotlight and unfortunately it was very harsh on the model's.

The room it was in is small and dingy, and a "night-club" effort in a hotel. Its not great at all. [Horrible burgandy walls too!]

Gotta agree with Marc on this one - excellent shot considering the poor / harsh lighting :)

Nice - but real pity about the back of the... oh

:)

DD

I knew it would be one of the first comments you made, so I made sure that I put it in that I knew about it! Best of the day, but still not happy with them!

Thanks Chris, D200 ISO 1000 - Flash wasnt helping at all apart from just making everything look worse than it was [read:looking as BAD as it was] so I opted for trying somethning different, using what light was avaliable....The dress was VERY pretty too though :D

Hmmm, back to work, that's facebook! LOL.
I never went on facebook at work :whistling:
I work from home now.

Hey Dell - I nearly bought you a pressie today - only 'nearly' though

It was a duck keyring that had a button. You pressed it and an LED lit up as a mini torch... AND... it quacked

Ace it was

Anyway - it's the thought that counts ;)
