Hardest word: GRIEF, from Friday, May 19​
Average guesses: 3.98, with 30.74 percent of players solving in three or fewer​
Easiest word: LATTE, from Tuesday, May 16​
Average guesses: 3.47, with 52.19 percent of players solving in three or fewer​
The Wordle answers last week — May 15 to 21 — were easier than those from the week before.​
 
Back to a quick 3 this morning.

xgyxy improved to ggxgg and I could only think of one option.
 
Late today, phew! Tricky I think.
 
5 for me.

yxxxx, xxyyx, xxggg then I could see 2 options - guess which way I went first... 2nd of the 2 was correct.
 
3 today. 1 B and 1 O on first line and inspired :LOL: XOOOO on second left an obviously choice for the correct result!
 
4 for me.

yxxxg wasn't a bad start and improved to xxygg then xgggg. Saw a couple of possibilities and for once chose correctly from either alphabetical order or keyboard placement!
 
Happy with a 4 today 1G 1Y, 3G, 4G which left about half a dozen words I could think of and luckily I went for the right one first 5G.
 
Phew! for me!

xyxxy, xgyxx, xxgxg, xxggg then I went word blind! Tried an all new elimination starter which gave me one of the remaining letters but in the wrong place so then went through every possibility twice until I saw it! Still, a solve is a solve.
 
5 today. Bit of a slog but 4th line XXOOO left only 1 possible word :)
