You never know what might be more acceptable in the USA. My daughter is in LA at the moment, and keeps bamboozling them with phrases like ‘a spanner in the works’ and ‘knocking them for 6’

Maybe try “spat his/her dummy out of the pram”. They use other words for dummy & pram.

Annoying 4 today as I should have done it 3. Hovered over choosing 2 words for my second and picked the wrong one, used the other at 3 and left very few possibles., maybe only one valid one.

A huge PHEW for me this morning. xxyxx developed quite nicely into gxxxg but that still left a huge number of possibilities! Took me all 4 guesses to find the right one!
