I have a a7sII and the same lens (35mm f2.8) - and its relatively quiet. I've filmed with the internal mic and a smallrig forevala mic - I don't hear any noise. You could go to a camera store and test your camera+lens combo to find what is causing the issue. Have you done a camera settings reset?
Does anyone have this lens - and able to tell me if the front element moves during focusing or stays still. Also if you try to move anything on the front of the lens does it move slightly or is a tight/ firm fit.
Just trying to see if the front of my lens is loose or normal.
Thanks.
Just started doing a bit of filming a few months ago.
I've recently got a 7artisans 14mm lens and been trying it out recently. I used it out side in the sun @f8 - 2meters. Footage was good.
When I try to focus on the go and more shallower f stops - I just cant seem to get good in-focus...
I've always had issues with bowens with consistency with its flashes. Don't know if they have improved with their newer models. The only issue with Elinchrom is the limited choice of modifiers with an elinchrom mount. But the ones they do have is enough to do most lighting setups.
Tennis balls can save you and other people getting poked but also if your shooting in a delicate location - it can save the floor from getting scratched :)
I would suggest saving up and getting a complete c-stand (knuckle+arm). They are so versatile - similar footprint as a master stand. If you want to use it as a boom - try and get a counter weight on the arm/ sandbag.
Anyone know a place in London that would service a 7artisans lens. I just feel the focus ring skips slightly when focusing fast - but when done slow/ medium speed its ok/ smooth.
Its weird cause I used the same setup - even using the camera mic before and it didn't pick up the lens focusing.
I'm still using a 1DX II for stills and just getting into filming with it. Maybe in a year or two I will get something thats more film focused.
So with the voice isolation - will...
Yeah I had the same problem where the mic was fully plugged in but there was no sound. Found out that the cable needs to be slightly out and I just watch out for the sound icon on the camera.
I paid for 'podcastle' but the ai denoise function wasn't that great :(
I've downloaded 'audacity'...
Hi,
I recently did some filming and I noticed my mic (smallrig mic on the hotshoe > using a ronin s gimbal) picking up the lens (Canon 16-35 v1) focusing. I don't remember/ noticed it doing this during my last filming (will get my lens sent out on Monday to get checked).
Anyone have any...
Just got two replies from ebay - one that has the v2 said yes and the other seller with a v1 said no. Stilling waiting on a few more replies.
The v1 doesn't have any IS
Hi,
just curious - if anyone else has a Canon 16-35mm... and does your lens rattle when you shake it or is it quite solid/ intact. I never shaked the lens before - so don't know if its normal or if there is something loose inside. Sounds like the whole system inside is moving (no small parts...
