    Cheap tablet?

Saw these earlier... IPS panel, seems like good spec speed wise and expandable with SD card. 7" for £90 seems like a good deal. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18464617 Have to say I've got a nexus, which also has 7" screen and it's great for multimedia, ebooks and photos...

    Wrist Straps

Thanks for the infos ;) Although I do have the battery grip, I don't always have it attached due to the extra weight it adds... looks like they only have the loop strap left so fresh out of luck this time - will keep an eye on the thread for next time! I had seen the waist straps in...

    Wrist Straps

Hey :) Am looking to replace the standard neck strap n my Canon 40D as I don't like the camera swinging / bouncing about when I'm out strolling.... can anyone recommend one? Have seen a couple on Amazon, although the price varies considerably - one was like £10, the other was £39.95 - is...

    Computer advice!

Hope it's not against any forum rules to post links to PC suppliers... Ebuyer and Scan are both fairly competitive on pricing, have good range of stock with configurable PC specs, and Scan offer 9 months interest free credit on items over £300. ;)

Best place to register a .co.uk domain name?

Can also recommend 123reg, but I've alsro got some registered / hosted with GoDaddy.com (they're US based but often have good promotions for if / when you do start to need hosting services)

    Filters

The oft sited benefit of a filter kit like the cokin is that you only have to buy one set of filters and then use step up rings to attach the holder to the lens rather than having to buy all of the filters in different sizes for each lens you have...

Newbie and got a bag thats just too small!

You can usually find some decent bargains in the classifieds, or on a certain auction site so is prolly worth just splashing out on a new bag as people above have said... can never have too many bags (although that sounds suspiciously like something my gf would say!)

    Using Lens Extenders

Fantastic, thanks for the info... most useful  Found this place that has compatibility charts for the 1.4x and the 2x extenders... Will have to put a few different lens options / combinations together and look at the prices  See you actually have them available too so...

    Using Lens Extenders

Howdy, :) Have been using the standard kit lens that came with my 40D for the past 12 months or so, and am now hankering for some new lenses... ordered a 50mm from Kerso (which is being delayed due to the adverse weather, dammit!) Would like to get some sort of zoom lens, so have been...

    filters? 500d

True, although some people will always suggest fitting at least a UV filter as they're relatively cheap and do offer some protection to the lens. Circular Polarising Filters (CPLs) are also almost an essential purchase to minimise reflections and help capture those deep blue skies...

Merging 4 pictures of boy jumping from a wall?

Yeah, PS is an amazing tool, with so much functionality that it's only really the people who get to use it on a daily basis will only ever truly understand it... and unfortunately I'm not one of them, although after a few years of irregular use, I'm now at the stage where I know enough to do...
