Hello I've lost a lot of our home video due to a PC loss, and want to transfer them to a Mac now... It's a Sony DV camcorder, but I don't seem to be able to transfer/capture on the Mac. I've purchased a new DV to USB firewire cable... but anyone any suggestions as to my next steps?

The power station is an awesome subject to photograph. I've loved the station since Alton Towers bought it... and have visited whilst it was in a state of dereliction. When I visited a few months ago, I just sat watching the world go by for about an hour. It's sad that its now 30% shopping...

That's it, I can't rotate it in iPhoto - cause it opens it in an upright position. I feel like I'm being really thick!

That's the thing though... in the camera a Portrait is just that, upright... When opened in any software, it's upright... But, as a thumbnail it's a portrait laying on its side, and if used on like the screensaver, it's also showing as a portrait laying on its side?!
