Agreed I loved the MX its been a great camera over the years...been looking for a Nice F2 withought the silly price tags some dealers put on them..only for them to sit on the shop shelves for years collecting dust..

Always wanted an F2 & a F3 when I was a kid but I could never afford one..So I got a job glass collecting when I was 14 but never got one LOL ..ended up getting a Pentax MX from Harrison's in Sheffield..Still have it too but the mirrors stuck up..Cheaper for me to get a replacement than get it...

I no but I have fancied one for years...Titanium champagne ones seem to be going for silly money and I thought getting one might be an investment worth having..

Just been offered a nice Nikon F3 in the hard to find Titanium finish as opposed to the more common black finish...What would you say one is worth now days ? Thanks Barry

Rubber Tyre paint works well..Paint both sides (LIGHTLY)...dont use anything to heavy like cloth or tape or it will slow the shutter down..

Why would you want to shave the hood of when it comes of once you unlock the inner locking ring..its only take 2 min to do..

Its the EXIF data..theres post on the net where others have had similar probs after updating there firmware ..Some have had there counters re set too..Whats going of ?

Just updated my firmware on my D200 and for some strange reason its gone up from just over 1800 activations to over 3900 why ? Any sugestion and has anybody had similar problems... Thanks

Try lifting the ISO dial up and spaying some switch cleaner lubricant in..You can get it from marlins...

try rotating the ISO dial a few times..its often muck that gets trapped under the dial..rotating it often cures the problem..
