Hi wheres the best place to purchase a Samyang 8mm f/3.5 Fish-eye and whats the best price you have seen it for in the UK from a reputable dealer...As I am hoping to purchase one over the next few days...
Thanks

I think mine came from foto-tip ebay store. Im not sure as any UK retailers.

Edit: UK Optics appear to do it.

Hi I gave UK Optics a ring ..But nobody answered the phone..I will have to try again in the morning as the price looks good too..

Looks like the same site layout as UK digital who dont answer the phone either but I got a Samyang 85mm f1.4 AE UMC from them with no issues. God forbid anything goes wrong but faultless delivery.

Foto-tip has been used by a few. Searching for it on here will throw up results.

I thought the same...Put me right of not getting no phone answear..What shop never answers the phone..its more likely to be some back street warehouse..I might be better of getting one of Fleebay if I dont have much luck as some shops are trying there luck with people and charging up to a £100 more than the rest of the shops..

Good lens, my mate has just got one. I had a quick play with it and now i want one

Just need the cash to get one

Well it arrived this morning..(That was quick) not had chance to try it yet but I will post some pics as soon as I get the chance..

Best bit about them is you stop them down to F8+ and set the focusing distance to just over a meter you dont have to worry about focusing at all due to the insanely wide angle. Cheating if you ask some, easy as pie shooting from the hip if you ask me :p

This is a link to a pix of my cat which was the 1st live/low activity subject with the Rokinon 8mm fisheye. This is a fun lens but remember to keep the lens clean or every spot will show up in you photos due to the extreme depth of field of this lens especially at f8 and beyond.
If the image doesn't open just right click on that strange looking square and open in a new tab.

Only in Nikon mount unfortunately from what I can see on their site

No they do it in several mounts...I can see this lens getting a lot of use over the next few months....

Just managed to get a quick snap..very happy with it and the shop who supplied it
